This is a good series even though I didn't get to finish watching it, but I still enjoyed it.

All of Season Two's interconnected episodes add to and enhance Star Trek's mythology. I am too cheap to get CBS All Access, so I knew I would get to watch the series when it came out on Blu Ray. I purchased both Season at Best Buy when they came out and this is one of the greatest Treks Ever in my opinion! Second Season has a great Story line and we get to see Captain Pike and Spock when he was younger, before the adventures of the original Star Trek back in the 60's! A must have for any Trek Fan!

I am old enough to be an original viewer of the first Star Trek episode in 1966. So seeing this show today I was at first wondering how I would reconcile how the technology of USS Discovery far exceeded 1966 NCC1701A. But the the technology in TV/Movies advances and since science fiction requires you suspend belief I found this show to be very engrossing. Am anticipating S3 900 years into the future

First, I got this on sale during Black Friday. It was a great price. Second, I enjoyed the first season of Star Trek Discovery and this season expands on the earlier storylines. I also enjoyed the appearance of classic Star Trek characters Captain Pike and Spock. An engaging season of space travel and exploration with a stunning conclusion.
