I'm old enough to remember watching the Original series, back in the '60's! So, to see Spock... and both Sarek and Amanda... all portrayed so well... and Captain Pike (and "Number One"!)...!! It was like the perfect mix of nostalgia... with the excitement of a brand new story -- all with movie-quality effects, excellent acting, and riveting story-telling!

It’s so great to see a female POC in a leading sci-fi role! Especially one that’s so well-known as Star Trek! I’m excited to watch this new season of Star Trek Discovery. This has been a great driving force in the resurfacing of the Star Trek brand for the late 2010s/20s and the cast of characters is wonderful.

I am greatly enjoying this second season Blu-ray of "Star Trek: Discovery." I had a little difficulty finding it on the shelf but a store employee helped me promptly and in a very professional manner. The only thing that would have made this better is if the price is a little lower. If I were willing to wait I could have gotten it cheaper through Amazon Prime. However, being able to immediately take possession made the purchase worth the extra price.

Bought this as a birthday gift for my dad, and he thoroughly enjoyed it. My dad is a die hard Trek fan, he grew up watching the Original series as it initially aired in the 60s. I know a lot of newer Star Trek fans are mixed on this series, but my dad seems to love it, and he was there since the beginning of the show! Enjoy!

It's a good season, but not great. Sadly I don't think this series will ever come close to any of the other Star Trek series.

This series of Star Trek is unique because the support the story in a way that keeps you on edge trying to follow how they will twist and turn all the events. the acting continues to be great and the characters are worthy. Looking forward to the next season.

Enjoyed season 1 and was looking forward to S2. The Blu-ray price was high across all platforms so I waited. Luckily the sale came via email & I bought S2 as a belated Birthday present! Online ordering was easy & item was ready for pickup in 30 minutes.

Season 2 of Discovery was a good continuation from Season 1, with a goodly number of twists and turns in the plot. We are left with a humongous cliffhanger that will lead us into Season 3. Excellent series that is really gaining traction.

I don't have CBS All Access but am a big Star Trek fan. Purchased this set to see the 2nd season. I found the story line, characters, action, and focus to all be superior to the 1st season and more Star Trek like in perspective. I hope there is a 3rd season.

Really enjoyed season 2 of this show. Can’t wait for season 3 to come out to see what happens next. The original reviews for this season weren’t good, but we liked it. Enjoyed the back stories on some of the main characters.

This is quintessential Star Trek. Like all spinoffs it has its quirks, but the characters are engaging and you care about what happens to them. It also doesn't hurt that this series fills in some back stories in a canonical way.

Wasn't going to pay for the subscription service but when the 1st season came out we got it. We're hooked. So far the second season seems better than the first. Still won't pay for the channel but looking forward to season 3 on Blu-ray.

This is one of the best Star Trek shows that I have watched!! I have waited a longtime to see it since the only way to watch the current shows is to subscribe to CBS. I found the DVDS at Best Buy and can’t wait till season 3 gets released.

If you like the 1st season this is about the same maybe not as good but still not bad

Star Trek Discovery: Season 2 has been a fun ride through the Trek universe while also touching on events from the Original Series & yes...explaining why Discovery & it's cast is not mentioned in that Original Series in a good way.

Since I do not subscribe to CBS All Access, I was absolutely thrilled that CBS decided to release Star Trek Discovery on Blu-Ray. I have purchased both seasons so far, and can't wait for season 3 to be released on Blu-Ray.

You must see season one before you go to two. I am a star Trek fan and this new one I loved. It keeps you on your toes to the end. I hope we don't have to wait to long for the third season.

Have been a Star Trek fan since the original series and I must say this show has tremendous potential for a long run. It only airs on the CBS app so I have to wait for the DVD, worth the wait.

The story is well done with lots of challenges to keep you on the edge of your seat. I didn't care for the social agenda that was added to the story, but it wasn't enough to take away from good SciFi action.

While I did not favor many of the changes that the first season took to some of what has come before on previous Star Trek series, I really enjoyed this season of Discovery, especially the updates made to the Enterprise. The story this season had some outlandish bits, but overall worked for me.
