Season 2 of Star Trek Discovery is even better than the first. The characters, settings, and extra promo's make this a must buy. Be sure to pay close attention to S1 though as the stories will be included in S2.

Season 2 of Discovery differs from season 1 in that this time the show gets itself more involved with the lore and familiarity of the Star Trek franchise. The 14-episode season is a must-watch.

As a stand alone, this isn't that bad, but it's NOT Star Trek by any stretch of the imagination. (They butchered the other world characters so much you could hardly recognize them. And Spoc was not Spoc as I remember him.) Constantly having to read the Klingon (Preceded with the note that it was Klingon?) in the first season almost made me NOT buy this season. But I did. First there are way to many story lines going on to keep track of and I'll have to re-watch it to be sure I know where everyone was going with this one. But by the final episode they got their act together and made it work (somewhat anyway.) Now a time jump over 900 years into the future? We'll see what they do with that next season (although I doubted there could BE a 3rd season.)

Best option to watch the 2nd Season of Discovery if you don't want to Binge watch using a CBS all access free trial. Decent price after using rewards points. Fast delivery.

Will watch after finish #1. That I love. Except for the reuse of the Empire alternate reality steal from Star Trek and Enterprise, all other Klingon tweaks are positive.

Different from other Star Trek series. With new and old Star Trek stars, great action. Story twists are so surprising, endings are not what you expected.

IMHO Season 2 of Discovery was the best season so far. Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike and Ethan Peck as Mr. Spock were great. Wonderful storyline too.

You can't go wrong with Star Trek. This show does a great job of keeping the franchise alive. I think the character development is great and the cast is excellent

I have to say this new season was a great season I really enjoyed it specially being a Trekkie I definitely would recommend it to friends and family and trekkies alike

The second season of Star Trek Discovery provides a new mystery and adventure. The new Spoke is a perfect for this role. A must for Trek fans and lovers of good Science Fiction.

Not a fan of the show but it looks good on Blu Ray.

Loved the series. I know Michele Yeoh is just a Special Guest, but I wish she will always be in the Discovery series that should continue.

What can you say its Star Trek. Love it. Had to get because only other way was streaming and I can't afford another monthly fee to watch one show when I can buy it on sale

I am not that into Star Trek. I don’t watch the original because I think sometimes it is campy. But Star Trek Discovery is the bomb!!!

Bought for a Christmas gift for a person who doesn't have streaming video (but DOES have a DVD player). So far Discovery has been a pretty good series. I wish the DVD had many, many extras and Easter eggs, though.

I wasn't able to watch this online so we bought it to watch. It was very enjoyable and we were hooked. We had to stop ourselves from binge watching!

It took some getting used to after the first season, but after watching the second, Discovery just keeps getting better and better can't wait for season 3!

I've been waiting for this since The Cage was released on VHS in 1986 and this season still exceeded my expectations! In ancient times, VHS was a format... nvm

I'm a Trekker and although it was confusing for me to watch the Discovery series it was enjoyable.

Haven't finished the season yet. Bestbuy always sends me the review option way too early. So far, it has been at least mildly entertaining, just wish it was a little more appropriate for the kids as they are Star Trek fans also.
