Its a great movie. the CGI is amazing. Pine and Quinto are amazing as Kirk and Spock. They do a great job of showing the blossoming friendship between the two. I would have a like a more original storyline for the second movie. Instead it came across as more of a remake of the Wrath of Khan from the 1980's. All in all its a great film if you appreciate it for what it is!

It is the second movie in the new Star Trek adventures. This movie delves deeply into the new world of hybrid humans and their creators. It is a very good movie and the crew of the Enterprise fights not only the hybrids but the people inside Star Fleet who are trying develop a new class of warriors to fight the enemies of the Federation.

Once again this new film in the Star Trek series captures the essence of the original series but with greater special effects and strong characterization. The ageless tale of Khan is once again brought to life but with more consequences and action. Even if you not a Star Trek fan this action thriller will keep you on the edge of your seat.

I truly enjoy the Star Trek reboot and the ability to move forward in it's own space time continuum. ;-) Some fans of the series look at the plot of this 2nd film and say, "really, you couldn't be more original?" But I am okay with the direction, the alterations and spin put on the Khan character and approach. Sit back, pay attention, and enjoy the growth of the series. :-)

Will what to say its a blu ray and if you have a HDTV regardless of the type or model, When its time to watch a movie am grabbing a blu ray the picture quality is wonderful and you can hear the difference on surround sound love the movie highly recommended grab some popcorn turn it up and you'll love it!!!

Very good follow up to the current original movie. This current Star Trek Trilogy mixes a good blend of the the original character stories with more detail added to the characters and modern action and technology.

Like the first Star Trek movie of the current franchise, this movie contains plenty of characters and situations from the original Star Trek universe - but played up in a completely new way. Lots of possibilities for more movies. I just hope they don't ruin it by trying to re-integrate the two universes/timelines.

I'm a Trekkie from way back. Chris Pine makes an excellent James T. Kirk! The other actors are well cast and have the little mannerisms of the original members of Star Trek series or early movies down pat. It was an interesting twist to develop the Khan character from the beginning. Great action and overall fun flick.

Definitely a must have for any Star Trek fan's movie collection. The special effects are outstanding. This movie will not disappoint. Loved it. On top of that, I got the movie at a great price.

Star Trek Into Darkness is an awesome movie. The plot is AMAZING!!!! It is an excellent addition to the Star Trek fan base. The only downside that I have with this DVD/Blu-Ray combo is that only the Blu-Ray has special features. I am a little bummed about it, but it's a good reason to find a blu-ray player.

I think this is the best of the 3 star trek movies and I thought the 1st and I thought the 1st one was really great.. But this 1 took it to the next level good and was really good!!!

This is one of my favorite movies. I’ll probably watch it at least three times a month and I’m still not tired of it. Go ahead and pick it up you won’t be disappointed I guarantee you.

Good features what is real and what is CG in the movie it might have you guessing. I don't want to give away to many things so if you likes the 1st one you will probably like this one as well. As always new ships, original characters from the TV series used with new twists, Klingons, and more.

Based on the original international sensation, Benedict Cumberbatch takes the Star Trek world to a place where no sci-fi film has gone before with an edgy, dark, gritty and truly terrifying portrayal of the Enterprise's greatest and most deadly enemy. IT WAS AMAZING!

Into Darkness is a great addition to the Star Trek catalog. Although it does mirror some previously established Star Trek plots, it manages to satisfy both the Trekkies and the rest of the movie-viewing public at the same time. It's an entertaining movie and one worth owning.

JJ Abrams did a masterful job of bringing back the Star Trek franchise to the big screen. The first episode encompassed the major themes and characters of the 60's TV program. The sequel good but the beginning was forced which could have been avoided. Otherwise true to form Abrams was able to continue to bring life to the series. Unfortunately I understand the Mr. Abrams will not direct any future episodes.

I guess J.J. Abrams wanted to stay true to the original movies with this sequel introducing us to Kahn as the original series did. I like the new series much better than the original and think Benedict Cumberbatch did an excellent job portraying Kahn.

I must admit that I jumped on the STAR TREK bandwagon late in the game. I didn't discover it until the 2009 film. That being said, I'm a Trekkie for life! After having going back to watch TOS (and everything else in the ST canon), it was great to hear references to those works pop up in INTO DARKNESS (including Tribbles)! I love this film now!

I know some people don't like Star Trek but the reboot is good. I find the action and special effects good. I got a great deal on Black Friday and I figure for a price of a happy meal I might as well own the movie so I can watch it as often as I like.

I'm a purist with the Star Trek shows. Never been a fan of the offshoots. When I saw the 1st Star Trek, I was happily surprised with the acting, the humor, and the true to form plot line. In this sequel, the story twists a bit, but not enough to pull away from the original premise. Loved the cammios by the original cast Plus Kahn's character stole this entire performance
