The rebooted Star Trek franchise second outing focus on coming together as a team and learning to rely on each other and themselves. But trying to use an iconic Star Trek enemy to blend into the narrative makes the movie a bit to complicated and muddles a lot of the narrative to a degree. Still a stronger than most movie in the overall franchise.

An unexpected twist on the original story of Khan. I really like JJ Abrams prospective on Star Trek. I know a lot of other fans were disappointed with where Abrams went with this film, but Kirk is supposed to be the Hero, and Spock was always the steady rock. This film gives you that combination of Friends on the edge and what you might be if pushed to the edge of friendship.

Great story, great action. The actors were all good especially the women. Zoe Saldana and Alice Eve played strong women. Then again Star Trek was always ahead of it's time when it came to race relations and the important roles that women played.

Really enjoyed this movie. Good adventure story that is also kid-friendly. Enjoy the backstory connecting it to earlier Trek productions. Like that they can create an action movie without ruining it with profanity... it is great to be able to enjoy this as a family.

I was never a fan of the older Star Trek movies or TV shows, but I really enjoy the new movies. The movie gets off to a fairly quick start picking up with Kirk, Spock, and the rest of the crew. Of course, problems start to arise when Kahn hits the scene. It's a fun ride with a couple of twists along the way. I thought Cumberbatch did a great job as Kahn as well!

This second edition of the series reboot further defines the new environment that makes up this Star Trek universe. The actors have made the roles their own. Good story, excellent action.

I don't know what it is but I love this movie. I can watch it at any time. I want to get it in 4k. I was not a major star trek fan, I've watched the series growing up but never continued as I got older. These movies made me fan again.

I loved the first relaunch movie "Star Trek"! And to take a notable character of Khan and do a rehash of his story was bold and exciting! JJ Abrams is outdoing himself with this new series! Great for the old Trekkie and great for the new generation of Trekkies!

I already own this Blu-Ray - 1st release with the special packaging & was able to recently acquire a Steel Book version. I have been watching Star Trek since the original series in the mid 60's. Will never become tired of the films.

I was waiting for this to be on sale. Great movie for all Trekkies. Darker than many of the films but still gives a sprinkle of humor via Scotty.

I bought this movie based on many reviews stating that it had reference quality sound and video. It absolutely does. Colors pop and every detail is sharp. Sound is even more impressive. There are some awesome set pieces in this film and the sound makes them come to life. I didn't like the movie itself as much as the first, but it's not bad by any means.

While I prefer the Wars over the Trek, I did enjoy this and Zachary Quinto was an amazing Spok. The story was great too especially when you see Nimoy.

I like this movie and the previous one as they both show the development of Kirk & Spock's strained relationship beginnings towards brotherhood. It is also the prequel of the story of Khan from the Original TV series. It's action packed through the movie.

Come on; who doesn't love Star Trek?! I just can't wait to watch it again in blu-Ray. At least, my wife says I saw it already and own the DVD. I'm older now and find it so much fun to watch great movies for the first time again!

I'm a Trek fan and have really enjoyed these reboots. They're well done, fun, and relatable. The blu-Ray had a digital copy which is a plus and the disk itself looks great.

I bought one years ago and it’s one of my favorite movies. My copy got ruined so I ordered another one from Best Buy. Got it fast and I’m so happy right now.

Continuing in the Star Trek tradition the movie goes beyond where no man has gone. Excellent movie to be viewed especially in blu-ray. The action is constant and the banter between actors is in the best Star Trek tradition.

If your a Star Trek fan this is a must buy. The blue ray will enhance everything about the movie and is something definitely worth paying for. Best buys prices are great to begin with so you are getting an excellent product at a reasonable price.

Star Trek remakes were great. The original TV and movies were great. They did great with the remakes. Like the way the stories combined some of the originals into one remake.

Would definitely recommend this for any star trek fan. New take on the khan vs kirk tale. Peter weller delivers another excellant performance as a co star along with cumberbatch. Never lets you go from start to finish.
