I'm a fan of the original Star Trek series and had all the movies on DVD, but wanted to upgrade to bluray. I would say that the bluray video quality for the first two movies is noticeably better than the DVD versions, but for the other movies, it's not that much of an upgrade. There's a ton of special features for all the movies and there are new to bluray, but not all of the DVD special features were carried over. It's a bit hard to sort out all the differences, but just know there are some. This set is also the only way to get the captain's summit bonus disc. One drawback of this set is that it does NOT include the director's version of the first movie (Star Trek: The Motion Picture) which was available on DVD. Only the theatrical version is available in this set.

Bought the Star Trek, original motion pic collection for my son, one of the items on his Christmas list. After dinner we all watched the movies, needless to say he really enjoyed his gift. We are both trekie fans, as the others who watched it are also The picture had good quality and the price was good.

All great movies all in one great box set. Has a special features something or other but we haven't watched it yet. All the movies look and sound awesome on Blueray, it's pretty cool to see some of the older sci-fi special effects from the first few movies now shown in HD. *Live long and prosper*

I love the Star Trek movies. i have some older ones on VHS and one even on Laser Disk. I love that they have this set on blue ray and that it includes all the movies. It will be fun to watch with the family.

It is wonderful to see the evolution of Star Trek from the first movie to the 6th. And comparing those with what I remember from the original TV series and now comparing these to the newer movie releases with new, younger cast makes the experience totally delightful.

Bought these again in Blu-Ray for a Christmas present. The first movie is so-so, the second & third great. The succeeding movies are a little less intense, but still good. I'll always remember the original crew as the best. Blu-Ray pictures are sharper & brighter, which helpfully lightens the images.

The set is a great collection of movies for any Star Trek fan. I literally grew up watching the series. And then the movies came out, and enjoyed them too. The Blu-ray discs added to my collection of couple of seasons I already have.

I had seen pieces of the movies and heard memorable quotes such as "Khaaaan!". If you like classic Star Trek or think you do, watch them... if you find you like 'em then this package / bundle is a must have!

Got this for the captains summit and the extras on the movies, awesome video and audio and captains summitt already watched twice. Awesome with Whoopi narrating with the captains and their insights.

Brings back great memories of watch Star Trek with my dad. The movies are as good as they ever were. I am excited to watch them with my son.

Great movies, love watching the older movies, even w cheesey effects. The picture and sound quality is excellent. Definitely worth buying!!

This is a great collection for any Star Trek fan. The movies have great picture and sound. They have excellent commentaries and other special features that any Star Trek fan would enjoy.

Worth it especially with how much BB puts it on sale. All the movies in one nice and neat collection. Goes along great with the collection they did for Next Generation.

Very interesting Multi-Flicks re 'Star Trek Collections'. Very good "CGI Special Effects" overall thruout all these Movies in this 'STC'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These movies are a lot of fun to watch and they have never looked better because of blu ray. Nostalgia prompted me to buy this and there have been no regrets.

We are great lovers of anything Star Trek and have all the original VHS movies. It's great to see them in the newer format and everything so sharp.

This is a nice compact set with all of the movies from the cast of the Original Series. The production quality is terrific. Any Trek fan will enjoy these movies. Star Treks 2, 3 and 4 make a terrific trilogy.

Love having the videos in one set so convenient for storage and for travel. The picture is clear. Blu-ray is like watching in the theater.

This is a great set for a good price promotion with the new movie out in thearters. The biggest downfall of the set is part 5. As bad as it was I still enjoy watching it and the rest of the series.
