I really enjoyed these. Looks great on Blu-ray, and a nice addition to Discovery S1 & S2.

"Star Trek: Short Treks" is an eclectic trip through the new Star Trek: Discovery universe. Made of of many short films featuring major and minor characters, "Short Treks" is a lot of fun and hits many different kinds of notes--from drama to comedy to family entertainment. I preferred the live-action short films to the animated ones, but this was a good buy overall.

Really hard to go wrong with anything Star Trek so getting insight into the backgrounds of the characters was enlightening. More short treks into more characters. Gives us a peek into what their lives and futures can and will be. If you’re a Trekkie you’ll enjoy this DVD.

I enjoyed this from beginning to end. There was lots of "back-story" provided for several key characters... and enough "heart" and emotion (and surprises!) in the Shorts, that they almost seemed like full episodes in themselves! (Even the unique music at the end of each one was delightful...!)

Star Trek Discovery is a pretty great show. These Short Treks are mini episodes (although some have some length) that wouldnt otherwise fit into the Season story arc. There are some that are touching, some that are hilarious and most work just great.

Wonderful collection that belongs in everyone’s Star Trek Collection. Meet Ephraim the Tardigrade (note you should look this up on Wikipedia and listen to the audio book Dead Endless), a tribble story, and of course Harry Mudd just to wet your appetite.

Star Trek:Short Treks fills in the backstory on choice episodes of Star Trek: Discovery. Some of these shorts are extended scenes,some all new mini episodes. Gathered together,they enhance the viewing pleasure of Star Trek:Discovery.

always loved trek. been a trekkie for decades. now these new series just takes it a step further. good stories and effects. great extras. worth to be in your collection.

This DVD was awesome. The short spurts of star trek episodes are fun to watch. You can get a viewing of your favorite sci fi show in a short time when you don't have enough time to watch an hour or two hour show.

Short Treks is an entertaining set of mini-episodes that helps the re-launch of the property. The best episodes are probably “The Trouble with Edgar” and the two animated features.

I love watching any Star Trek Films or Sci Fi films. A lot of the times things that are presented in these films come true in everyday lives in the future.

Lots of fun. Good fill in for some of the Disco S1 episodes. Would be great if they included all the shorts, but this is a good start.

I am personally a star wars person myself, but I got this for my fiancé. He loved watching the series and then this just topped it all off.

While the quality of the various segments varied, there were enough good episodes that the overall package is worth owning

Entertaining addition to the Star Trek franchise that doesn't feel drawn out and proves the old adage that less is more.

Based on ST-Discovery, the videos are all good with a couple being especially good in tying in to the original series.

The series Disc have a couple of these, what is so good about them is you get the back story on some of the Characters.

I like shorts... they add to the flavor of the franchise. Can’t wait for volume 2 to come out

It is great to have all the Star Trek shorts on one disc. I didn't realize I didn't have them all.
