I LOVE that they started releasing some of the more popular stories of TNG combined into one movie and this one is truly a classic! You also can't beat the top-notch work that they did on all of the Star Trek blu-ray releases. Definitely a must-purchase for any fan!

It's one of star treks most iconic moments can't say anything bad about it would have been AWESOME to see more to Wolf 359 but it didn't happen back then so I understand why they couldn't just add it now.

I remember watching "Best of Both Worlds" during the original run of Star Trek: TNG. Here, the picture is crisp and the visual and sound effects have been enhanced. A definite "must buy" for any Trek fan.

This is still one of televisions finest moments. The new high def transfer is brilliant, the colors vibrant, and the splicing together of the two parter to one movie is seamless.

I like the picture quality of the Blu-Ray. I like the combining of both halves of the story to make one whole episode, and I like both of the preview trailers. I also like the commentary footage that was added to the Blu-Ray, and I enjoyed the Gag Reel (out takes) very much. But that is where this 'pleasure paragraph' ends. I was disappointed with the fact there is no 'extended story' in this Blu-Ray, like a few other '...Next Generation' episodes have, one of the episodes being the Season Two story MEASURE OF A MAN. I felt if this episode had story excerpts reinserted, the price might have been worth what I paid for this 'would-have-been, fully restored' one piece episode.

We are big star trek fans, this was definitely one our favorite episodes. to see it on bluray was great! cant wait to see more.

beautiful restoration, and great decision to seamlessly blend the two episodes into a "movie" of sorts.

Excellent episode and the picture clarity has been greatly improved compared to the standard edition version.

I love Star Trek Collections and there is no way of stopping me to but it on reasonable price.

looks great for a 20 year old episode. this is the episode everyone was waiting to see on Blu Ray. Pivotal plot points and the Borg. The picture has never looked better. if you haven't checked out TNG on blu ray this is a great starting point. if you want to shell out 70 bucks a piece for the sets then go for it. but i'll stick with my DVD complete set i only paid 100 for. extras include a decent making of documentary and a great gag reel

The Best Of Both Worlds is by far one of the best Trek episodes, and certainly some of the best sci-fi ever written. This came out on the Big Screen for one night in select theaters to kick off/show off the new season on Blu-Ray, and it certainly did not disappoint.

In this 2 part episode re edited into 1 90 min show. Captain Picard is kidnapped and turned into a Borg named Locutus and it is up to the crew to rescue him. Even if they get him back to normal will Picard be the same man he was before.

This seemed to be when Star Trek The Next Generation hit out the ballpark. I always felt they should have saved this for the series finale because iny opinion they never had another equally satisfying season cliffhanger after this episode.
