So I love the movie itself so this review is not about that. I was a little dissapointed because it did not come with the slip cover. It was just wrapped inplastic. Other than that it came in good condition. I thought I ordered 4k but I must have ordered just regular blu ray instead which was disappointing too, seeing as they were on sale when I bought them but now they are full price so I cannot exchange them for 4k and still get the same price.

This whole steel book collection is amazing and so unique. It's well worth getting separate movies than the box set.

Only thing better than a Star Wars movie is Star Wars in 4K with Atmos sound. Looks and sounds great.

Episode II takes some hits from fans and critics as being one of the weaker, if not weakest, entry into the SAGA. Once you realize that Anakin and Padme are, essentially, teenagers acting like teenagers who didn't have a normal upbringing, the dialogue and emotions they express seem much more natural throughout. They are, at times, awkward youth growing up too fast while trying to make sense of the universe and their feelings. So yeah, they can act a bit cringy at times. But that's real life. As a high school teacher, I can verify this. :)
The rest of the story, acting, action scenes, etc are all in line with a typical Star Wars adventure.
The 4K and sound representation is nothing short of amazing. EVERYTHING just pops. So glad I upgraded from the blu-ray! This was my best experience of viewing this film.

This movie is alright and has its place. I still don't understand why the writers decided to write the story they did with episode 1, 2, 3. In the whole Star Wars Universe, out of all the stories that could have been written (really an open slate), the writers decided to fall back on confusing, complicated politics with double crosses and assassinations, etc. Why?

It’s only the blue ray disc, but brand new exactly what I expected, except they put way too much of the packing glue on the back of the paper cover that comes over the steelbook. It was harder then it needs to be to take off at least without damaging it, it is a very unessessary amount used. Would be cooler if it was an actual sleeve w/ different artwork, but not really trying to complain, I am pleased.
