Battlefront 2 is an absolutely beautiful game...specially on X1X. In terms of the graphics department, this game does not lack one bit. I've only played about an hour of the single player at it has been decent at best. However as most of you know, the Battlefront series isn't about single player, its about multiplayer. The online multiplayer is very fun and somewhat addicting. I feel as if there could have been more variety with the weapons. Overall it is a pretty solid game. I am sure it will become better if time via updates.

This game is absolutely gorgeous. Everything about it is beautiful. The only flaw is that the progression system is broken. EA is currently looking into this and I suspect they'll fix it, but it's surprising how much trouble it has right now. Despite the "Pay to Play" comments (which aren't valid at the moment since they've disabled micro-transactions), I don't see where it would have helped in any area other than Starfighter, mainly because you get so many duplicates when buying Trooper crates.

Though limited by the in-game loot system, I would still recommend getting the game. It plays more off of skill than it is given credit for, and though the progression for multiplayer is fun and the campaign is a bit lackluster, I still find myself wanting to continue playing. If you're into star wars, it makes the experience that much better, and I think the game will only get better in the future with the controversy-inspired patches that will no doubt make it's way into the game.

The story isn't the worst and the campaign in fun although somewhat short; even with the additional downloadable campaign levels. Starfighter Assault multiplayer is a blast and looks and plays gorgeously. The game is worth getting just to play that. Galactic Assault isn't bad either if your more into ground warfare. Would give 5 stars if the grind to get better cards wasn't so long despite the tweaks they have done to supposedly make it not as bad.

Star Wars battlefront 2 is light years ahead of the first EA battlefront game. The game looks beautiful and includes maps and characters from all eras. The game does have minor bugs that need to be worked out when navigating menus and equipping modifications. The game has had a lot of negative reviews due to micro transactions that all games seem to be doing. The game HAS currently removed all traces of in game purchases at this time. If they are to bring it back it should be for cosmetics or nothing at all.

The campaign is classic Star Wars, the multiplayer is solid, but the developer needs to fix many issues with the progression system.

I like this game. I will say that I enjoy playing a story and this seems to have a better story then the first Battlefront. I think that addition is very good for me, who does not like lots of online play. My son has enjoyed the arcade mode, as it is much more of a run and gun adventure for him. Graphics are great, sound wonderful. Does take a while to load some of the modes, but that is becoming more commonplace in all games, and I guess if you expect wonderful sound and graphics, you will need to wait.

This game is by no stretch perfect, but it isn't bad either. The game play is pretty fluid and looks good graphically. There are a few controls that are a little weird, but if you just spend a little time tweaking them you can fine tune it to exactly your play style; the arcade mode makes this really easy if it is just you, you can pause in arcade and adjust on the fly. While there is a lot of "paywall" and "pay to win" being tossed around about the star card abilities, they are really only slight modifiers and only make some changes slightly better (ie reduce a cooldown of a power from say 40s to 30s at its highest level). Also, the fact that you can only run 3 cards limits a player's ability to become too overpowered. At current time the game needs more heroes/characters and the heroes should probably stick to their own timeline (ie. Kylo Ren should not be fighting Yoda). But it has been confirmed more are on their way, which may also get this problem fixed (hoping). Campaign was rather short and can reasonably be beat in about 3-5 hours (depending on skill, difficulty and if you like looking for all the little dialogue of other characters). It also felt a little disjointed, as in several missions thrown together with just enough to not lose the plot completely. Overall, decent game, EA seems to actually be responding to the community for a change (at least for now [look up Vader/Luke Reddit]) and confirmed all DLC will be free with this game means no mandatory transactions to keep playing long term.

Despite the backlash the game received had at launch, this game is an authentic Star Wars game. The gameplay is amazing like previous games made by DICE especially the help of the Frostbite Engine. The campaign at this point (the only campaign I've played from any game) is outstanding, the actors are great and the storyline is amazing by Lucasfilm. This game is just getting started and I can't wait to see all the FREE DLC take place. The controls are easy to learn and very manageable to change.

I pre-ordered this game and have really enjoyed it. If you're a fan of first person shooters you'll likely enjoy it - it's beautiful with great graphics, sound design and gameplay controls - and if you're a Star Wars fan, it's like stepping into some of the biggest battles of the movies. The progression/pay system they started with was no good but hopefully they'll fix that issue. I recommend the game.

Dont be put off by all the bad press this game got. That is only from the microtransactions in the game. The game overall id far better than Battlefron in 2015. The campaign is a little on the short side but very well done. The multiplayer is a lot of fun and all the controls feels very solid. I would give this a 9/10. EA is actually working on reducing the microtransactions in the game and will not be a pay to win type of system now that the fans have fought back on this.

Star Wars Battlefront II lastly brings to you the single player allowing to observe the history from a different angle and play for an imperial commando. Multiplayer modes are awesome, especially when it goes for piloting the variety of ships, including First Order TIE fighter. Yet, all of this is slightly overshadowed by the loot crate drama.

Pretty fun, nice graphics. Loot boxes worthless and frustrating. Too easily picked off when assaulting, one could just stay back and wait to kill without being Detected. Overall, good game, not worth $80 to just progressively earn players and fighters. Should be either or.

Enjoying the game but so far have just played alone. Multiplayer works ok but having problems staying alive. Love the music and scenery but am just now getting into upgrading stuff which could be a little easier to do. Over all a good game with hours of fun. Have finish the too short campaign but says its extended into multiplayer game

If you are a fan of Star Wars, you will enjoy the title regardless of how you perceive EA’s handling with the progression system. Playing on Xbox One X is fantastic, the environment detail is good, and the audio is spot on. My only negative would be the progression is a grind. With that being said, May the Force Be With You.

Don't listen to all the micro transaction nonsense. All games have it. Campaign is really good and links in to rest of star wars storyline. Multi-player is great! Arcade mode is garbage. I was really hoping for an instant action style couch play like older battlefront games. That would have put this game over the top!!!!!

Take away all of the drama regarding the loot boxes and terrible progression system, and you're left with a game that is technically much better than the first game. The addition of an entertaining single player campaign and more varied multiplayer easily makes this game better than the first in almost every way.

Game itself is fun to play. BUT, I wish all the content was unlocked from the beginning. I spent more money for the Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition and I feel it was a waste of money. EA is really being greedy with this game. Many angry customers. Really need to dedicate a lot of time playing to unlock everything.
