Game is a lot of fun and has some great game modes but this is definitely a game for Star Wars fans. Replayability is kind of minimal and everything gets a bit repetitive. Offline mode is non-existent and this is strictly a multiplayer-focused game. However, the graphics are great, the environments are fantastic, and it oozes with nostalgia. It's a fun game and if you're a Star Wars fan, grab it!

Despite having lack of a campaign mode, this game is a lot of fun and very entertaining. The graphics are smooth and crisp accompanied by accurate sound effects and scores representing the Star Wars franchise. Though the game may seem incomplete, it provides many game modes that will have you playing for hours straight. Definitely a nice change of pace in a first person/third person shooter!

Star Wars Battlefront is probably the most disappointing Star Wars title released since the prequel trilogy. There's no way I can put enough quotation marks around the word "game," so I won't even try. Without online access, the game feels like a demo, with the only options for play comprising the tutorial missions and 3 uninspired FPS modes that can be played on a grand total of four maps. Even with access to the multiplayer features, the game falls short of feeling like a full product. There is nothing resembling a campaign or story mode, and most of the various multiplayer modes lack innovation and variety. Vehicle choices are severely limited and their controls overly simplistic. Once again, only four maps exist for the larger battle modes, with twice as many smaller maps offered for game sessions under 20 players (but only in specific types of gameplay). The "space" battles are relegated to the atmospheres of the same four map choices offered in the larger game types, and flying feels repetitive and mechanical thanks to maneuverability being governed by cooldown timers. With flying missions being only offered in one style of combat, this game is essentially just another FPS shooter, yet the range of personal combat styles and weapon choices is laughable narrow. A total of eleven weapons currently exist, all of them blasters of some sort, so they don't feel very unique. Instead of classes, players are allowed to select 3 cooldown powers, yet it seems that these are unbalanced and most people consistently choose the same "star cars" over and over. Playing as a hero unit in a multiplayer match seems to be a random occurance for a lucky few, and they are so overpowered that once one player becomes a hero, it is not likely that another person will get their turn any time soon in the match, and that's assuming the hero eventually dies. I've seen repeated matches where one player was able to survive as their hero character for nearly the entire mission. Vehicles in land battles also are gained by luck it would seem, accessed by finding power ups randomly dispersed throughout the map. I must reiterate that choices are limited; you have the option of the AT-ST as the empire, or nothing at all as the Rebels. There are also fighters available for the land battles, but they are ultimately useless due to their speed and inability to lock on to grounded targets. Spawning is poorly designed, and results in some pretty hilarious moments, such as being dropped into a group of hostile players who immediately pummel you to death. Coordination with teammates doesn't seem to be an offered feature of this game, so really, it never feels all that important to stay alive. After the initial hour of play, I felt absolutely apathetic about winning or losing, and after three hours, the game had mindlessly repetitive and exhaustingly boring. The good news is that the developer's will be releasing loads of DLC in the near future, which possibly might address most of the grievances listed here. The bad news is these will probably come in 30 dollar installments (and I think they have 4 planned so far) so try not to get upset about paying these guys a hundred bucks extra just to finish the game you already bought and now can't return. Despite being one of the best-looking games I have ever played, this incarnation of Battlefront lacks a tenth of the appeal that the originals had, and feels like a lazy cash grab based solely on the idea that the Star Wars label can sell anything, even garbage.

My first time playing any of the Star Wars games. I found the graphics very detailed, the online play is better than Call of Duty. There's lots o skills to achieve when playing this game especially flying. Most games have first person shooter, this game has both first and third person action for those who may have movement/motion physics in a first person shooter.

If you're looking for a fantastic hard core shooter, this is not the game for you, but if you're a Star Wars fan, this game is a must-play. There are so many cool little touches that make the entire experience feel authentic, and it's fun to play. Also very accessible and doesn't have any blood, gore or language, so it's something you can play with your kids.

Who doesn't love Star Wars? I don't think theirs anyone who doesn't love a Star Wars. This game has everything from Jedi, Storm troopers, X-Wings, Darth Vader etc. I'm still in the early stages of the game so I can't write too much about it BUT I will say that I've enjoyed the gameplay so far. It's easy to pick up and play. So be a Jedi. You know want to.

If you are really into online gaming Star Wars Battlefront is the game for you. Old and new Star Wars fans will enjoy playing with good and bad characters. And if you want to change things up there are vehicle battles as well.

The game is exciting and fun right out of the package. It is not necessary to complete tutorials to hit the ground running. As advertised, multiplayer is epic in size and adventure. Invite your friends and make an impact. Levels can be acquired quickly and ingame extras are easily attainable. I will be playing this game for a long while.

I love this game, the multiplayer is perfect, match making is very quick and the map sizes maximum capacity player amount is very high, but there was a few negatives, the maps are great but there is only a few of them, also the decision to leave story mode out of the game is a very big miss to say the least, other than that a must buy

Capitalizing on the recent release of The Force Awakens, Star Wars Battlefront takes the Star Wars universe and creates a new, visually amazing experience for current generation hardware owners. Everything from the visuals to the sound design has been crafted expertly by developer Dice to draw the player into the world. However, the game lacks a single player campaign and is multiplayer only, with only four maps available at launch. As a result, what seems like an exciting experience soon begins to wear thin, as you see all there is to see in the first few days of playing. Of course, EA is happy to sell you a season pass with additional content, and for those who love the limited content the core game has to offer, it might be a good purchase. However, for the majority of gamers still on the fence about this game, I would recommend waiting until the inevitable 'complete' edition comes out.

Great graphics and sound. Lot of variety in game types. Just shallow. If you want to play the 40 person multiplayer, understand that there are only 4 maps that ship with the game and 1 to download. Gets 3 stars since it's Star Wars. Average game otherwise.

Flawless graphics, great action. Pretty easy to pick up and play. Really fun to see these characters, sets and vehicles come to life.

The game is primarily multiplayer and doesn't really have a story mode but if you like Battlefield or are a fan of Star Wars then you're sure to love this game. The graphics are hands down some of the best I've seen. I often catch myself looking around in awe of the detailed environments. Overall I'm very happy with the game and even though I hit level 50 already, I keep coming back for more. There are 4 DLC expected for the game that you can purchase individually or buy a full season pass to get them all.

This is a real fun game at first but gets fairly repetitive. There are only 3 heros you can choose from on both sides. Other than that, smooth gameplay, shooter friendly, fun vehicle play, huge battle scenes. Much more multiplayer focussed than the last Battlefront. It gave me a different feel completely.

It's a fine game to play with friends, get's a little boring when you play alone for too long. You'll probably want the Season Pass once more DLC becomes available which I can only assume will have characters, maps, and game modes based on The Force Awakens which may make it worth the cost of admission.

Great adaption cross over from Battlefield. Star wars fan will go nuts with the hero battle mode. Beutifull grafics and great smooth game play. Too bad it doesn't have a story mode, that would have been 5 stars across the board. Listening to the soundtrack and effects alone is worth the buy.

Have only played this game for a few hours, and already fallen in love with it. Great solo play, fun online play, oh, and of course, it's Start Wars! I have had no technical issues with the game, the overall gameplay is fun and varied. Audio is spot on, with all the small details you remember from the movies. Playing one of the hero characters is fun as well, and the opportunities to play either side is balanced pretty well. I look forward to many more hours with this game!

Even though the game does not have a story mode it is still a great buy just playing it online or with friends at home. The graphics are great and capture the essence of star wars to the core. Definitely the best star wars title yet and hopefully they will add a story mode with a DLC.

Looks, feels, and sounds like star wars. Insanely amazing graphics and sound/music design... However the gameplay is lacking. For casual players or as an entry level short this game is great for star wars fans. But for average to competitive players the game will get boring fast.

This game is Call of Duty meets Star Wars and that is amazing. Beautiful visuals and sounds. Easy to play.
