Purchased this during black friday specials week. Man, the transfer is crisp with a smooth frame rate. HDR10 by my Samsung 4k brings this to the next level visually. The Dolby atmos running through 7.1 surround sounds amazing!!! This force is strong with this 4k release

The picture quality that is been remastered is nothing short of outstanding, I seen this originally in the theater. In regards to the audio, there's only so much you can do with the quality from back then but overall good.

A must have for any Star Wars fan. If you are new to the series this is the fifth in the whole story.

This was a gift for someone who has many sci-fi films and was happy to get this to replace one that had turned up missing during a recent move and was very happy with it.

In a galaxy far far away in a time long ago, this movie would never look so good. Maybe the best movie set in space ever looks incredible with the 4k detail. Great purchase!

A nice 4K transfer of a 40 year old movie. It's definitely worth it if you dont have it already on Blu Ray, the price is a little steep otherwise.

I've seen this movie dozens of times over the years, from its original theatrical release and at home on VHS, Laser Disc, DVD and Blu-Ray, but the 4k version is the best yet. Don't hesitate - if you’re a Star Wars fan, this is a must have in 4k format.

Ive had every edition of the star wars original trilogy since VHS and to now be able to see it in such beautiful 4k. Feels like watching it for the first time again

Seeing the original trilogy films in 4K was a treat. Amazing clarity! Still has the special edition edits, although there wasn't many in this film. Just happy to get all the Star Wars films in 4K. Has most of the extras and features we've seen before.

I watched it the first time with the story telling audio feature. It was like having the movie read to me when there was no dialogue. I enjoyed it. It is much better video than the regular dvd. Appeared more real.

If you’re going to own these classics, you have to own them in the Steelbook version!

It is not recommended but it is cult movies. Galactic wait for you. Stay force with you.

Was worried it wouldn’t be a big improvement over previous versions of this movie. I was wrong! It is the most beautiful it has ever looked. Grew up watching on VHS so this is a real treat.
