Fun game if you want to play as a Jedi! There are now more abilities than Jedi: Fallen Order, in terms of Force tricks and lightsaber styles and attacks. Beautiful planets, new fun ways to get around quicker. Most everything from the first game is improved upon in some way, but it still feels very much the same game series.
Occasionally I run into areas and get stuck for a few minutes whether it be a puzzle or I'm just not seeing what I'm supposed to do, there are options to assist with that which I do not use, some retreading of ground you've already been over.
I'm not quite done. Probably two thirds or so through it I would assume based on how many skill points I've accrued. Thus far the story has been fun, hard to say if it is better or worse than Fallen Order's story at this point. This is not a bad thing. If you're into Star Wars lore, you should again be pleased with this story.

This is an excellent sequel, perhaps surpassing the first game. The backgrounds are beautiful, the music is great, and the story certainly keeps you interested rather than begging for the skip button.
However, the game frequently glitches in graphics-intense scenes with significant stuttering visuals, phantom enemy attacks, and missed commands. A good example is the legendary enemies Spawn of Oggdo and Rancor. Often times you dodge an attack correctly, see that you're out of danger, only to have the enemy glitch-turn and have their fatal attack land despite you being out of the way or another enemy blocking their path.
There is a glitch in which you get stuck in the back of the Mantis and can only resolve this glitch by completely closing the program and powering off the PS5 then restarting. Lastly, the difficulty is INSANE on some of the bosses/legendary enemies/force tears. My first run-through was only on "Master" difficulty and it took dozens if not over 100 attempts each to defeat the Spawn of Oggdo, the Rancor, and the Double Rancor.

Solid game, combat is great. Huge maps across different planets. Story is decent and the voice actors for sure put a lot of passion into the voice acting during key moments in the game.
Frame rate performance was sketchy at times, given there was alot going on at times on screen. Still overall great game.

A creative and great adventure that grabs elements from great series such as Dark Souls and Bloodborne with a Star Wars enthusiastic twist meant for any sci-fi fan.

Great overall game. Excellent gameplay with an interesting story. Plenty of good exploration and interesting puzzles. Be aware however, PS5 still has performance issues. I never play on fidelity mode but due to the unstable nature of performance mode i kept fidelity on the entire time

I was hesitant to purchase this game because I heard about some of the technical issues with it, especially on PC, but I got the PS5 version and it’s been a blast! Some frame rate dips, but nothing crazy.
I was also blown away by the visuals. They have updated the environment a ton from the previous game.
The only draw back for me is the file size you have to download to play. It was around 150gbs for the update.
I would definitely give it a try, especially if you enjoyed the first game.

Played on one step down feom the hardest difficulty. Take a moment to stop and liaten to the enemy conversations before running starting a fight. The is an increased emphasis on puzzle platforming. The light saber duels were chanllenging, but fair. I didn’t get frustrated by one hit KOs that seemed to be everywhere in Fallen Order. I had a few glitches, like big enemies hovering after defeat, a door to the saloon not opening (hung up loading), and some T posing characters on the ship before traveling to another planet. Game did not crash though. Fewer planets to explore than Fallen Order, but Survivor’s planets are bigger, with an open world feel to them.

Game of the year so far. Smooth transition from the first into the sequel. You get to keep all the abilities from the first and they added a bunch of new stuff.

The continued adventures of Cal Cestus had a few hiccups when they started, but the bugs have been squashed, letting the story shine thru. If you loved Fallen Order, this only makes the improvements that were necessary to that. Better than what has been given to us on the big screen, we can only hope that those in charge of the franchise will realize how important good story telling is and give control to those who truly love the material and will strive to make stories that can be enjoyed for generations to come.

The game is incredible story, gameplay, and graphics. The only thing holding it back as of now are the bugs and glitches it is nearly unplayable when the game begins drop frames. Should happen for a $70 ps5 game that took years to make.

Game was gorgeous on PS5, had no problems running on the console. No glitches that I have come across. Great story that builds off of the previous game.

I got this on sale for $20. Recently started playing the Star Wars Jedi series, so I was eager to get my hands on this. I was expecting to pay around 50, so that 20 dollar price tag was more than appreciated. The disk wasn't loose and had no scratches on it. The game so far has been fantastic.

Been waiting for this game to come out ever since i beat the original.
Was not disappointed with the sequel
Im probably a third of the way through and loving it, so far theres a great story line, intense action and good (updated) force usage.
Best part is for difficult parts you can still switch the difficulty level so you dont get bogged down and can get through those hard to defeat bosses and keep the story moving
