It was good. It only took me about two days to beat it, but nonetheless it was fun. I just want Sony to make some more games like these.

Bought new on sale. Great storyline, amazing graphics and tons of action abilities. Can be a bit frustrating at first, because there are many powers and moves to master; but its a good challenge. One of my favorite games. A must have for any Star Wars fan.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan and I've played almost every game there is with the "Star Wars" title. Yeah, George Lucas has me by the pocket book... I played TFU 1 on the Wii and thought it was an enjoyable story but not as good a gameplay as that on the PS3. When TFU2 came out on the PS3 I pre-ordered it expecting much better. The graphics are phenominal and the controls are intuitive. It was fun to play, but wow is it a short game. I beat it in one day (approximately 5 hours) and saw I already have over 50% of the trophies available. The game really has no replayability. It was not a hard game to beat either. The challenges you unlock on the way were more difficult, but boring after a few times. I have not put teh game back in since beating it. I have no reason to unless I want all the trophies. It is very obvious they are hoping to release a ton of downloadable content to squeeze more money out of you. This game is a RENTAL only in my opinion.

could have been a game of the year

The graphics are a fantastic improvement over the last game. The controls and force powers are amazingly done and fun. Lots of room to be creative with lightsaber and force combos. This could have been game of the year if it was a full game. this game will take you no more than 6 to 7 hours to complete, on your first playthrough when you are new to the game. After finding out what to do your second playthrough will be considerably shorter. For $65.00 I would expect a full lengnth game. I am still glad I bought it because it's hot just very short and because of the legnth i could only give 3 stars. it would have gotten 5 stars if it were longer.

    Not Worth it

Its half the length of the first one... Took me 4 hours to beat... theres only 2 boss fights, no emperor appearance, no other Jedi besides Kata, and no surprises!! Its failry easy...The story has a TON of holes in it... and they actually leave it open for a 3rd installment. Dont buy this game, it is not worth 60 bucks. Trust me, when the end comes, you will be waiting for, just kidding, we wouldn't do that" part... nope, never comes.

The graphics in this game are amazing. Game play is solid, and there are some awesome new force abilities. However, this game is painfully short, it took me about 4 hours to beat, and leaves a lot to be desired. I'm sure they will be offering some DLC (which should have been included to begin with) and making even more money off of this game. Save your money and either retnt the game or get it used in a couple of months.

    Waaaay Too Short!

I feel like I paid more for the cinematics than I did for the game play itself. Also the way it ended, I can't help but feel like Lucasarts took what should have been a complete game and chopped it in half, hoping to string our wallets along for a third installment! Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed what VERY little game time I played (about 4-5 hours) and the graphics were absolutely breathtaking. Sam Witwer is over the top with his character, Starkiller. But just 3-4 levels of game play? Really?!? Played out within 1 day? Shame on Lucasarts for charging a premium for so little. And where was my chance to push Vader through the wall, like in the commercial??? I felt mislead. I would recommend this game only after a huge drop in cost as it felt more like an expansion pack. Aside from my gripes about this game, thank you George. I've been a fan for 33 yrs.

A fun game but is way too short.

This game was probably the most dissapointing game I have played in years. While it did boast, amazing graphic, fast paced gameplay, addictive combat, and a great plot, it also boasted 6 hours of play total. I was able to easily beat the story on a high difficulty and beat every single challenge in 6 hours. I personally would not pay 60 dollars for a game that only takes up that much time. Now granted the action was extremely impressive and fast paced, however when boss fights came around they were extremely boring and repetitive. The last fight with vader was basically 30 minutes of using the same combo over and over and over again. Their final mistake was leaving room for a sequel. I reccommend the same for both games. Rent but do not buy.

Before I begin, let me say I was a huge fan of the first game. This new one has the same gameplay and the same great graphics that made the first one shine. The good points stop there, sadly. First, and foremost, this game felt very unfinished. The story was disconnected and unpolished. They seemed to add famous cameos for no reason other than to have them in the game. There was no purpose to them at all and in writing, anyone who does not advance the richness of the plot takes away from it. The game was also astonishingly short. After the last boss, I was in shock that the game was over already. 3-4 hours is a normal playthrough. It may take some players 5-6 to finish but only if they really take their time to explore everything. Bottom line: Save your money and rent this game. I certainly wish I did.

    Where's the Story?

If you have read my reviews before, I have been giving high praises when it comes to the games that are out lately. It pains me to do this but the hype over Star Wars Force Unleashed II wasn't all that it was made out to be. The great aspects of the game is that it is a continuation of the previous game, so you don't miss a beat. The graphics are extremely sharp (if you aren't playing in HD, it is highly recommended)! And the game is a challenge. The purchase of the game through Best Buy gives you an unlockable costume which is always a plus. The one thing that makes or breaks a game that has the title of Star Wars is the story. The story puts you not just into the game, but into the storyline of the characters portrayed. The story was extremely short. Now there is a fork in the story that allows you to choose a different path (trying to avoid any spoilage of the story for those that haven't played yet), so there is a replayable factor there. But the story was so thin compared to the previous game. And since there is no online gameplay for this game, the luster of replay value drops tremendously. If you are a fan of the franchise, then it is a great addition to the first game Star Wars Force Unleashed. The sequel on the other hand while it has great features, the lack of story may turn some other gamers off. I'm hoping that there is downloadable content in the future for this game that will add on to the story to make the game that much better.

Good game, but way too short

This game had good graphics, good game play, and made you want to continue playing. However, this game was incredibly short. It was beatable within two hours of play by an average player. Since I am used to the phenomenal length of most Star Wars games, this was a major let down.

I have never reviewed a game here, but I felt compelled to do so with this force unleashed 2. I have never been so disappointed in my life. The first game was great and I've been waiting for a long time for this one. The graphics are top notch and the fact that you have to sabres is cool too, but beyond that there is nothing. It's hardly challenging and where are the boss battles? Where are the epic clone battles? And finally, where is the length? Honestly, after Vader was defeated, I thought the game was about to BEGIN. I was, and still am, shocked that it was over. This is hands down the shortest game I've ever played. They should be ashamed for actually charging full price for this game. As other people have mentioned, it's worth a rental, because you can beat it before breakfast is done. Aside from that, stay away and spend your money elsewhere. I only rated the excitement at a 5 because of how excited I was to get it.....

I enjoyed playing it. If you liked the game play of the first Force Unleashed game, you'll like this one. However, the story doesn't really go anywhere and it is way too short. I beat the game in right around 6 hours and I'm not that good. The trail events you game access to are alright, but feel tacked on and don't really add anything to the game. If it were 3 times longer with some semblance of a story, I'd have given it 4 stars.

    TFU 2: Epic Failure

This game is completely worthless. The story line consists of several subplots with nothing to tie them together. I got to what I can only assume was the boss battle between Starkiller and Vader when the game froze repeatedly until I finally gave up. Aside from being a whopping four hours long, equating to roughly $15/hour, the combat platform was awesome. That's about it for the pros. Going for a refund today. Don't waste your time.

The Force Unleashed 2 felt more like a reach of the original than a full fledged sequel. The story was very limited, and only included the Yoda and Bobba Fett characters in brief cut scenes. There was nothing innovative added to the gameplay. If you are new to the franchise then you may be pleased, but otherwise you will be disappointed by this game's waste of potential.

Excelent game really good story line, they fixed everything that I could say that was wrong with the first one except for the fact that it is way to short...yet again...(even shorter than the last one). I can not understand how they could not add more to it, the bosses where not hard(the few there was) and the levels where to short. I am a huge Star Wars fan to the core and would say anyone who is, needs to get this game, but on the players side they need a longer game!
