Customers recognize the compelling storyline as a major highlight, frequently praising its immersive and engaging nature. However, many feel the game is too short, criticizing repetitive missions and a lack of enemy variety. Positive feedback also mentions the intuitive controls, impressive visuals, and enjoyable music. While some appreciated the physics engine, others found the limited force powers to be a drawback.

this was a very repetative game.. go here.. blow this up.. kill these people
it was fun using the force for like a day then it got boring.. the story line was ok, more for kids than anything there wasnt a huge twist or any choices that could effect your gameplay. definitly not worth 60 dollars

Put The Leash Back On The Force

i bought this game in hope of a great game which bridges the gap between Episode III And Episode IV. What i got was a horrible attempt at a great game. When you first play the story line is compelling, but after awhile it becomes annoying. The mission were lengthy, and enemies were annoying. the Storyline conflicts with the storyline from the movies. After you complete your missions, you do the levels again only now its occupied by the empire! Very repetitive and predictable. The Force powers would've been cool if you had a use for them. Power up the force lightning and thats all you'll need!

Im just going to put this simply, this game is very dissapointing. Lucas Arts is known for much more than this. My main problem is the fact that the game is so linear, compared to todays Open Ended games, this game just follows one path, and one path only.
Another problem i encountered was some frame rate issues, it lagged up when i was slashing more than around 10 guys on screen. Also, the enemies are very repetitive, as clone like as stormtroopers.
Overall, I think that they could have done more with this game, they cut alot of corners. This could have used at least another year in developement, though for reasons i do not know, it came out now, lacking severely compared to other top games.

Biggest Dissapointment EVER!

I thoroughly was dissapointed with the 8 hours of this game. The unlockables aren't that great, all you get are some color crystals, a few power crystals, and costumes and the costumes you get at the end of each level. This game had HUGE potential. But with no multiplayer, lack-luster unlockables, no different lightsaber hilts to choose from, and only 6 different force powers, this game fell way short of bieng as good as anticipated. This game could have been one of the best in a while. All the hype made it seem epic, but it was really just dissapointing.

Expected something similar to the Knights of the old Republic so I was pretty dissapointed. You can skate through the entire game in about 3 to 4 hours, the upgrades you find change your lightsabers color or you get different clothes...... It seems like they had good intentions with this but just threw together something at the last minute. It reminds me of a cheap video game to accompany a big box office movie, but in this case there is no movie --leaving little to no satisfaction. I remember having more fun playing Iron Man! This is the untold story of Darth Vader' secret apprentice between Star Wars Episodes III and IV. This is a fantastic game with a great story/plot. The only downside is the short length of the game.

Vader's secret apprentice

I love this game! In it, you take the place of Darth Vader's secret apprentice. This is set in between episodes 3 and 4. You remain hidden from the Emperor until his spies locate you and Vader has to kill you. However, you survive and he brings you back to heal you. He keeps you locked in a glass cage so the Emperor will not find you. You break free, though, and its pretty awesome what you do after that. You have some friends. Juno, your eighth pilot, who you fall in love with, is one. The previous pilots have all been killed. Your multitasking protocol droid, Proxy, is your other. In this game, I think the physics and the graphics are the best thing about it. Also, I like the story. You go from Sith to Jedi. The music is also just wicked . I think Force Unleashed is a great game.

Good game but at times annoying

I really like the game. The only thing keeping me from loving it is just dealing with the way the camera moves around your character. At times it seems to automatically choose the most ridiculous angles that cut the foe you are fighting right off of the screen as you move. You have to manually override it with one of the joystick stalks. Which works find enough but stinks if you are getting hit and your angle keeps changing. And this can also make the various jumping puzzles a bit difficult as you cannot always make out a safe place to land while moving.
I think though I am just a bit jaded cause I come from years of playing PC games with a much better control interface. If you play console games regularly you might not have the problems I do with the controls.

Unleashed is a fun game that packs in a lot of features for those who enjoy Star Wars. The only things lacking are that it is relatively short and with no multiplayer there might not be a lot of replayability.

the game is a really good find. Game play over all is incredible. Having all objects at you disposal is really cool. Manipulating all the objects including the other characters is really great. But there is always a downside to every great game. As i said befor that the game play can get alittle monotonist, as all the levels are much the same as swing the sword kill the mob. But the time it took me to beat the game it was alot more exciting than other games i have played recently. To all that reads this if you are a starwars fan this is definetly a buy for you. thank you for reading.

I used to be a big star wars fan and thought this game could be sort of fun. Overall it is ok, using the force and choping up guys with the lightsaber is a lot of fun, but the boring mission kill the game. I found myself just rushing through to the end of levels sometimes even skipping fighting just so I could finish the game. It does have tons of unlockable and good amount of replay if you are a big star wars fan, if not then go ahead and skip it.

For the most part, this game is awesome because of many reasons. The graphics are an obvious. But the important part, the play, is also a winner...for the most part. The level play is great, but mostly easy, with a few exceptions. However, the game takes a swing when you fight a boss. It can be a challenge just to figure out what the boss' weakness is before you actually attack the specific way you need to in order to win. It is rewarding when you defeat each boss, but it's after sometime of being rather frustrated. It's a really good game other than that.

Force Unleashed definitely delivers what it stands for, But it's really depressing that the developers didn't make a longer game. Environments are pretty linear, and are revisted throughout the game. Your able to customize your lightsaber and abilities as you like. A lot of people were expecting an amazing game, and it is...
It just needed to be longer...
Great thing is you don't have to be a Star Wars fan to follow this game, it is great for people fond of destruction and laying waste to onslaughts of enemies!
Defintely worth the buy!!

It is quite a fun game the first time through...than thats it, nothing else to do except bump up the difficulty and play the game all over again, and get some more achievements and upgrades. When you play the game you may notice that at times your floating, and it gets worst to the point where you think they spent no time fixing it. Without the Euphoria engine it wouldn't even have a chance on the market due to other problems. If your willing to spend a couple of bucks more, there is content that may provide at most a hour to the game making it a 15 hour at the best without much replay.

I played the demo for Star Wars Force Unleashed. This game is going to be great for the Xbox 360. You are one of the most powerful jedis in the world, having knowledge of the dark arts. The controls are easy and you face the rebels and the empire as you go on missions that you can not be seen and must kill everyone. Trust me this will be one of the best games for the Xbox 360, at least for the any Star Wars Fan.

The controls are pretty easy to learn and once you have them down pat you will be using the force to basically do whatever you want. The detail of some of the planets is remarkable and breath taking. The cut scenes were amazing and gave some understanding of what happens in between episodes 3 & 4. As it been reported there are a few glitch’s in the game and when they happen it can be VERY annoying.
