This is basically Harvest Moon with 2d spirte graphics. It really reminds me of the Harvest Moon game on the Super Nintendo. If you really enjoy those types of games this is definitely worth the price.

Harvest Moon style with a little more depth and a resemblance to Terraria's artwork style. This game provides a nice break from a long hectic day, a game to wind down with!

Stardew Valley is an absolute pleasure of a relaxing game where you build up a farm, improve your new town, find love, and fish until midnight, among other things. Made by just one man, this tribute to Harvest Moon is a passion project and it drips from every note, every graphic, every interaction. It's a game that just makes you feel good playing through it, and it should at least be given a shot by anyone who wants a chill game to just relax to.

Bought this game for my wife to play mostly. These type of game never really interested me. After watching her play I got into it also and we've been taking turns controlling the character. It's got a lot of little elements in it. There's farming and raising animals, dungeon crawling, relationship building, and crafting. Now if only my wife and I could agree who we want the character to start dating lol.

Stardew Valley is a farming simulator, in the veins of the classic Harvest Moon games. The title is loaded with content, and the developers continue to push more and more single player content to the consumer at no cost to them. Already having this on PC and PS4, I bought this title just to support the developer, who is one of the most customer-friendly developers that exist today.

I purchased this copy for a friend, but I highly recommend it. I'm a fan of the 16 and 8 bit style indie games, and this one is no exception. I have never played any of the Harvest Moon games, but I've been told that I would be disappointed if I did. If you want a fun game that you can lose yourself for hours on end, try this one.

Do not buy if you don’t have hundreds of hours to waste. Probably not the best thing to test out my new Xbox One X, but the graphics are still very pretty in their own way.

I love it! If you love Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing then please try this game. Even if you don't think you would like this type of game, I still recommend trying it as it becomes so addicting. Not only do you farm, you fish, forage, mine, fight and build relationships. You even get to level your character up. This is a very relaxing game from the gameplay to the music. It's a nice wind down, no stress game.

This game is absolutely incredible. I have never been able to get my girlfriend interested in video games, but she can not put this one down!

This game doesn't look like much, but it sure is. The amount of time I have spent in this game is insane, it is surprisingly addicting.

At first, I was meh about the game but then when playing it I was hooked. It does take time to learn about it but overall it is great!

If you enjoy farming, organizing, achievements, and patience, this is for you. Unlike Animal Crossing, the day goes by more quickly which I prefer. Gameplay is very much like the PC version (I have a Mac to be more specific) but I prefer the comfort of the buttons on the controller and the bigger TV to see the beautiful artwork. The soundtrack is also wonderful. Very calming. The “boring” days are mostly in the winter in your first year but once that passes, the 13+ mins you have for each day would seem so short. My review sounds calm but I really like this game. I’ve invested 50+ hours (which sounds a lot but not really) in the PC with much restraint and starting over again gives me that sense of achieving everything all over again.

Kept me busy for a few hours the first time. Great if you are into these type of games.
