Stardew Valley takes everything that Harvest Moon has done right in the last 20 years and manages to be even better. I personally love the sprite-art graphics although I can understand why some people aren't fans. Stardew Valley is a great farming simulator but the extra charm from the characters and your little village make it stand out from the rest. I did have a little trouble figuring out what to do at the beginning but the included booklet helped figure what I needed to do. If you like simulators or games that focus on character relations, you need to pick this up. You know a game is good when you end up buying a second copy because family members keep borrowing your game.

The use of pixel art is cute, and the music is very comfy. Gameplay is very addictive because there is something different to do everyday. If you are a fan of Harvest Moon, I highly recommend this game.

Based on some quick reviews and a the great $10 price, I had to pick this up, turns out it was a great move, this game is fun! I suggest you try to grab it for under $20, it's worth it!

The days of snes Harvest Moon are back. You'll love being able to farm during the day then head deep into the caves to fight enemies and level up. This game has something for every one.

I purchased this game for my wife for Xmas since she used to be a very big fan of the Harvest Moon series of games. Speaking as someone who is not normally into these types of games, I was a bit surprised at how much fun and how addictive this game can be. With goals that are always within reach, it keeps you playing day after in-game day to reach the next milestone. It can be a bit of a grind and you eventually hit a point where things can be a repetitive (a bit like the Sims in that regard) but still, you get a lot of mileage considering the lesser price.

This is a fun game to relax with for a bit whenever you have a few minutes (or even hours) to kill.

Solid RPG style game with graphics from the 80s. My kids like be it. Non-violent, good for any age.

I like the game but i am not so good at the remote

I have had fun playing this game, but there isn't a whole lot to it. I find it best to listen to music or podcasts while playing this game, as the game is a little dull and repetitive. It is fun in between the periods of repetition. Give it a try.

This game is very calming and seems simple on the surface but is incredibly nuanced. Your character doesn't even have to be a farmer, you could do whatever you want. Want to mine rocks? Go for it. To just collect stuff off the ground and trade it in for cash for weapons so you can fight random stuff, sure. It's whatever you want it to be.

Who knew that video game farming would be so addicting? It might be the retro 16-bit visuals that are reminiscent of the Golden Era of gaming. There's a reason why you can't find the NES Classic Edition anywhere. But I digress. The charm of this game is the simplicity. No frills farming simulator with a small dungeon element to it.

Fans of the Harvest Moon series will fall in love with the this. The retro style graphics along with an awesome soundtrack puts you right back during the days of playing Super Nintendo. From farming, foraging, tending to your live stock or even meeting that special someone *wink wink*, this game has something for everyone.

For anybody who loved the Harvest Moon series or even games like Farmville, this is a great game for people who own consoles that these farming games don't run on. It is extremely similar to Harvest Moon but it has much more to it. I've invested over 30 hours to this game already and am about halfway through

This game is very good. I can't stop playing it. There is two small problems with the game. The time of day in the game moves to quickly and takes away from the ability to explore the fantastic landscape. The other problem is I can't stop thinking about it and it is distracting me at work lol.
