Very good graphics there is alot to this game. Looking forward to exploring more of the game. I truly enjoyed playing skyrim and this game feels like a bigger futuristic space version of skyrim.

A Solid Space Launch, But Doesn't Quite Reach High

A solid attempt from Bethesda, one that doesn't reach the great heights it soared to be, but also one that didn't disappoint. The story while vague and abrupt, ends up picking more near the end of the game, the combat itself is enjoyable, and surprisingly for a Bethesda game, I experienced very little to no bugs during my run on the Xbox Series X. The dialogue/characters are definitely on the weaker side, especially when compared to other games such as Fallout: New Vegas and the Outer Worlds. Certain mechanics such as the marker were a bit confusing and frustrating to keep track of as well, since despite you marking one quest, had the marker pointing to several other quests/activities nearby - even if the scanner was used to narrow which marker was which - it was still frustrating. The space exploration itself has a lot to be explored, and the customization and dogfights are certainly enjoyable. While certain planets have a big base/hub for you to explore, don't expect every galaxy/planet to be the same, plus the local map isn't very helpful. I'd give this game a 7/10 for a solid job, I've finished a handful of side/faction quests and the main story, and enjoyed the conclusion with the interesting twist. I don't see myself really going back to explore more things, however, if story DLC were to be added for the game, I would definitely like to tune in and see what else there is for me.

The hype has been out of this world for Starfield, but dispite all the clamor, BGS has produced an excellent game. It's not flawless, and much luke Fallout and Skyrim, it has glitches and bugs but this is still one of the most polished games they have ever made. I will say my least favorite parts of the game are its surface map, lack of interior maps for cities and towns, and the crafting system is very complex, requiring tons of different materials. The story is exceptional and the humor is just right without being corny. I really enjoy the ship builder and im hoping they expand the options, particularly for interior layouts, in the future.

This is a cinematic Masterpiece that will be supported for years to come with open-ended ideas and a challenging philosophy. This thing is downright fun to play.

Ok, I must admit that I haven’t finished the main story. Even after 10 hours or so, I have barely scratched the surface of this HUGE epic. I loved the Elder Scrolls ever since Morrowind. Bethesda is far from perfect, but they make such fun RPGs with so much replay value. The graphics and worldbuilding are fantastic, even if the facial animations are outdated by now (The Last of Us Part 2 was better, for example). Least amount of bugs, and the side quests are always more fun than the main story. If you love sci-fi or RPGs, you will probably like this. Can’t really believe that this is 25 years in the making, but as long as you manage your expectations you should be fine.

Starfield has been a great experience so far. First, the game runs great on the Xbox Series X, with no slow downs or crashes for me. Second, this game is massive, there is so much to do it can be overwhelming. The game has gotten better as I have put more time into it and unlock new mechanics. The story and side content is also engaging. This is up there with my other favorite Bethesda titles, as I have always been a fan of Fallout.

Taken on its own, without Bethesda's history, Starfield is a decent game. It's ambitious, has wonderful art design, and is packed with gameplay. In light of Skyrim and Fallout 3 and 4, Starfield becomes ultimately disappointing. That ambition translates into annoying loading screens, cumbersome clicking of planet icons for navigation, and walking across often-empty terrain. The game world just doesn't feel alive the way Skyrim or Fallout did thanks to these annoyances. The gameplay ends up becoming repetitive. Not unlike the other aforementioned games to some degree, but the issue is that those games had the additional layer of exploration, each in one cohesive world as opposed to countless empty planets with the occasional copy/paste points of interest. Exploring felt natural and organic in those other games, here if feels gimmicky - ooh, 1,000 planets! This could have easily been solved setting the game in a system with just 5 or 6 large and fully developed planets and leaving "off-world" for derelict spacecraft and space stations. Bethesda has never been known for writing memorable, interesting characters and this is no different, though to its credit, the banter between characters and quest conversations are a huge step up from previous games. The theme song is fantastic, though not much else in the soundtrack is very memorable, in contrast to the Elder Scrolls games. If one keeps expectations in check and ignores that this is the first new IP from the developers of Skyrim and Fallout 3, it's a decent game. It has some potential and I would love it if it received a Cyberpunk 2077-like makeover and redemption, but until (and if) that happens, there are much more exciting games to play.

Great game (if you’re a fan of Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls or Fallout series)! Yes, it has bugs just like the other Bethesda classics. There’s probably somewhere in the range of 40-50 planets that can be explored with cities and towns, outposts, etc. scattered throughout. That said, there isn’t an infinite number of planets like the former No Man’s Sky. . . Several branching mainline story quests, factions, etc.
