    New Gaming Experience

This is a truly unique gaming experience and unlike anything I’ve ever played before. You start by picking an actual toy ship, a pilot, and weapon combo. You then place this attachment onto your video game controller and watch your creation come to life. The ship is very light and does not interfere with actual game play. The video game itself is really fun to play and has a huge expanded universe so there’s a lot to explore and discover. During battle, the game will actually recommend which weapons (kinetic, fire, or ice-based) to use against certain enemies and you can just pull one weapon from the wing of the ship and replace it with another. As you do this the game automatically pauses and takes you to a home screen where you can see your customization come to life. The starter pack comes with one ship, one pilot, and three weapons (cannons that attach to end of the ships’ wings). I would definitely recommend this game to anyone over the age of 10. The graphics are incredible, the game play is really smooth, the story line is entertaining, and this new concept of connecting an actual toy ship to the controller just blew me away. But aside from a unique new concept, this is one of my favorite video games I played this year.

    Beautiful Game

Looks great, love the concept, hope more accessories come out soon because I'm only a fan of two pilots and a few weapons. Still, prefer this to the Skylanders system. My chief problem is the split screen gameplay; everything is too tiny and there are too many on-screen indicators so you lose track of where you're headed (and where your partner may be). Since the game penalizes you severely for losing your teammate, a better system of location or some type of autopilot to get you back together would be amazing. My wife struggled with the controls overall, and I don;t believe she'll play much more in the future. For the sale price at $20 it was a steal, and we've found the accessories on decent sales since then as well. At $80, I would pass.

Took a little while to learn controller and the play but it is a fun game. If your a fan of sky landers this is a similar style game with different weapon, ships and characters. Each one has different powers. Overall fun for a few hours of gameplay

    Great for the Whole Family!

I love that this fills a need - a game for the in-between kids! My daughter is 8, outgrowing some of the "babyish" games, but still too young for a lot of the games she wants to play, but I can tell have too adult of content in them. Starlink: Battle for Atlas has all of the cool stuff she wants - exploring new worlds, open-world play, shooting and fighting - but still age-appropriate, no bad language, and I like that while it can be 2-player, it's not a game where strangers from the internet play online too, only the other "players" built into the game. Safety. :) Then you add in the WOW factor of the modular ships, pilots, and weapons systems to mix and match, and we really fell in love! Some games get boring after awhile of game play - but these Starlink toy accessories are affordable, so we are able to continue to upgrade over time, so we can keep expanding the way the game is played. And I'm very impressed with how truly seamlessly the changes made in the real world ships and weapons really appear on-screen in the game - amazing! No lag at all! We all have had a ton of fun with this, even my hard to impress teenage nephews. Definitely a winner around here!

    Really fun game

Starlink is a pretty decent late entry in the "toys to life" video game genre, because 1) the toys are actually really cool, 2) there isn't an overwhelming number of them to collect, and 3) you actually have the choice to collect all of the ships, weapons, and pilots digitally, if toys aren't your thing. The game itself feels a bit tedious and grindy at first, since you spend a lot of time repeating similar missions and tasks on every planet you visit. But as you begin to reap the rewards of completing these quests and maximizing your alliances, things start to get more satisfying. Difficult battles become easier and your ships, weapons, and pilots become more powerful. I completed the game in about 50 hours and ended up really enjoying it, even if the characters aren't very well developed, the story feels kind of rushed, and there's still a fair amount of world-building to be done. The Nintendo Switch version is probably the definitive one to get because of its pretty excellent Star Fox content, but I also bought the Xbox version while it was on sale because I really wanted the physical Zenith ship and Shredder weapon to round out my toy collection. For the achievements, I suspect this is a game I won't mind replaying!

We really enjoyed the easy, yet intense and adventurous game play. The graphics are crisp, realistic, and vibrant, and all of the characters and space elements truly do take you into another world while you play. The kids were absolutely in love with the fact that they could literally bring the game to life with special Starships, Pilots, and Weapons. These elements synced perfectly with the game, making each experience unique and customizable. Of course they also love the story, and never turn down a chance to have intergalactic space battles! This was great fun for all of us, young and old alike. With such a variety in age here, we often don't find games that everyone agrees on. Starlink: Battle for Atlas is one of those rare finds.

My kids and several of their friends have put Starlink: Battle for Atlas to the test over the last few weeks and everyone has loved it. They enjoy switching up starships, pilots and weapons to form their own unique style of play as they defend the planet Atlas. Starlink: Battle for Atlas is a great addition to your video game library as it offers more unique play options and add ons that kids can personalize.

The game is awesome Spent 14hrs until I beat it. The game is not long but you have to assist other planets and make alliances before you get to the end. If you like space combat and exploration. Every planet is different with its own Creatures and Fauna. The game is simple to control and doesn’t have expert fly mode we’re you can rotate your flying craft. Think StarFox game play but open world. Speaking of StarFox, get the Switch Edition. Beat StarFox Game to date. Meaning Nintendo has a license agreement to use StarFox and friends in the Starlink Universe.

Our family loves finding games that we can enjoy today. Starlink: Battle for Atlas is one that we love. You have the option of extending your play with additional weapons kits + extra pilots but they are not necessary to play. The graphics are really bright. It falls between real-life images and animation. Not too young for parents to enjoy!

What fun! I had thought TTl games were dead (except for Amiibo, because Nintendo is too clever), but this one's really fun. Fly, fight, explore! Use new weapons, ships, and pilots. No joke, I ordered all of it!

The package is great, got it on sale and it is a great starter pack. Came with Physcial disc for the game, attachment for the controller and the spaceship. The game itself seems fun to fly around and explore, I wish that you could get out of the spacehip with your caracter and explore like No Man Sky. Also it does seem that some type of enemies would suffer more damage with certain types of guns which you would have to buy separately...Which I'm not sure. But overall for the price I paid I'm satisfied.

Lately these games have been going on clearance left and right. This game is well worth the cost and very underrated. Gameplay can get repetitive at times, but the whole adventure was still a good time. For the cost of $5-$15 that this game usually sits at now, it is very worth it. The toys also look cool if that is your thing, but they are not required to play. All ships can be bought digitally.

This is a solid game. If you are an experienced gamer put the difficulty on hard. For under 30 bucks this is worth a pick up. This is a solid game since the December patch added more content that makes the game feel complete. The toys are fun. But you can buy all the content digitally if you dont want to bother swapping toys. You dont need the toys to play this.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas is a fun, family game for tweens, teens, and adults. Flying your ship through space and battling aliens is always a fun adventure. The Starter Pack has everything you need to have fun. Using the enclosed controller mount, the ship mounts to your Xbox One controller and you are off on your adventure. The pilot, ships, weapons, and the ship's wings can be switched out with additional items available for purchase. The physical product is fun for kids to watch their ship fly and the engine even lights up too. It is easy to see why my boys love this game.

I’m 31, bought this for me and my 7 yr old to play together. It’s a blast. Swapping parts, ships, upgrading the parts and ships through the game. It’s a fun adventure with easy but rewarding combat. You can buy all of the ships and upgrades digitally for half the cost. But the physical toys add some tactile fun -1star because it’s couch co-op only.

Starlink looks and plays incredibly well on Xbox One. It's a fun, vibrant new series that just does everything that No Man's Sky promised to do but didn't. I don't know that was the developers intention, but this game is great. It doesn't feature online play but does have local co-op. There are many activities and tasks but you can largely just go out and do whatever interests you in this fairly expansive solar system. Physical toys scanned in are permanently added to the game digitally if scanned again after a week. There is an alternative to this game as the digital version offers more ships for a $60 price, but playing with the ships is pretty interactive and fun. I'm really hoping the game performs well and the developer continues to expand on the series. I
