I think this is Murray’s best film. This is so funny and another reason why the 90s is the best decade for movies.

Fun and heartfelt movie about becoming a better person it has a great dolby vision master with atmos sound

This is a great movie with a fantastic UHD release that looks and sounds amazing. The UHD is a massive improvement over the included Blu-ray. This new UHD disc adds legacy 5.1 and 2.0 audio as well as Dolby Vision if capable. The special features are the same as the previous Blu-ray and UHD release with the addition of the theatrical trailer on the new UHD disc. The steelbook is nice as well and even includes interior artwork.

I love watching this movie every year on Groundhog Day. I am happy with this steelbook edition. Such a fun movie

Love this movie, sad case dented in shipping, due to my experience in the past trying to replace steel cases is not worth it. It’s not major but sad because it cost more

I like the SteelBook packaging on this re-release. The SteelBook has a matte finish with a screenshot from the movie on the inside. The transfer here looks good; the best version of this movie on any home format. Unlike the previous release, this gets the Dolby Vision treatment. While I cannot compare them, I can say it looks great. Highlights are not overblown. This is an older movie and the HDR adds some depth but doesn't go overboard. The 4K upgrade is nice with detail and film grain intact. A shot or two is soft; I seem to recall a shot of Bill that was particularly noticeable. The audio here is serviceable for the type of film on display. Crown noise and music sounds good and fills the space. There is a little LFE when the truck explodes, but again, this is not a showcase disc. This is a film to put on and enjoy on a lazy afternoon and when it is done you feel a bit better. Other films have come along and treat similar ground, but still added something new and made entertaining films (Edge of Tomorrow, Palm Springs, etc.). This is where it started. I do recommend this 4K upgrade for fans of the film.

Obviously, Groundhog Day isn't meant to be a looker. But for those who are looking for a 4K transfer and sound mix which match a theatrical experience, you can't go wrong with this disc.

Amassing condition, no dents or scratches which is the best you can ask for with purchasing a steelbook! Literally watching this on Groundhog Day right at this moment!

great movie, one of Bill Murray best. the 4k transfer on this old movie is great. The dolby vision makes a difference to this movie.

Ive watched this movie I don't know how many times, but its just so good I just can't help but enjoy it over and over again.

One of bill murrays best movies deserves a steelbook

This steelbook has the best cover this movie has ever gotten--why does the alarm clock typically sit on grass when the movie takes place entirely in the Winter? Never made sense. The 4K transfer is fine but certainly not mind-blowing, but probably the best it's ever looked. The movie itself is a classic.

One of my favorite films and a certified classic. Bill is in top form with a sublime performance. Great script, direction and wonderful supporting characters. Nice steelbook but I wish they would have designed a different cover. I give it two paws up.
