I was getting tired of people I game with complaining about how bad the mic was on the pulse explorer and as far as the sound, they weren't anything special.
I switched over to these when they released and no complaints yet on the mic (granted it wont be as clear as a boom mic) and the sound is actually amazing! Rich and full soundstage and you can set up custom profiles for the game you are currently playing via the app.
I also love the fact the app on iphone connects to them instantly when they are being used with the ps5 and you can change the customer EQ and ANC/Transparent mode on the fly via app.
Also, for those who complain the sound is too low, turn off the volume limiter in the app and the sound will be LOUD!

Great sound and super portable. Love listening to my favorite YouTube shows in the morning through the ps5 and keeping things quiet at night while the wife and kids are asleep.

So far I have no complaints. Fits comfortably in the ear and I like the sound quality. Good battery life as well. I use the anc as well as the hear through and both do what they need to do. Have no comments on the mic quality as I have not used it.

These are okay to be honest. You know when you aren’t sure if you should keep something but you do and then regret it? Well I think I’m going to listen to my gut this time. These headphones are nice for the most part but they have a few issues that I can’t overlook. The volume doesn’t truly go that high and it’s rough when playing games that require you to hear footsteps nearby. In some cases you can hear buzzing during silent moments in game and at times they malfunction and blare sound louder than can be achieved through volume controls. If you’re buying for the noise cancellation well they’re okay. At times they seem to cancel my own voice out when talking to others which means I can’t communicate effectively and it seems to occur most often during cutscenes or loud moments in game. They come with a great app with multiple pre set volume settings but it seems gimmicky cause you don’t notice that much of a difference anyway. They have a great charging system as well as battery life but so do many others. I wanted so much to like these but I’m going to return them after using them for a solid 21 days. I think I’ll just cough up a bit more cash and try something else

I had these pre-ordered and received them a week before they actually came out. I’ve had other Steelseries over the ear headsets and these by far are my favorite. I feel more into the games than ever before and I can hear EVERYTHING. The audio is great and my friends say this is the best I ever sounded. The calls coming through while I’m playing is so convenient. 10/10 for me.

Best gaming earbuds by a good margin

I’ve tried most of the gaming earbuds and would highly recommend these over the other options. Theyre comfortable, sound good, have great physical controls (including the ability to assign clicks to mute/unmute in the settings), and their Sonar software has an option to automatically switch your Windows audio to the earbuds vs speakers (although this feature is in beta and isn’t perfect). They’re not perfect - the noise cancellation isn’t the best, and the mic won’t blow you away. And you’ll want to upgrade the firmware immediately to address connectivity issues. But compared to the other options on the market, these are great

I jdut got these around 48hrs ago, and have broken them in on my ROG Strix Scar 18 5080, playing Doom, Rivals, and watchign some videos. They are excellent sound quality, and are really effective at active noise cancellation as well. Truly cannot even hear the fans on turbo mode pushing 60dB when noise canceling is active. Great bass, very clear, and to my ears, really great sound. Added bonus of not messing up when the mic is active as well, as airpods do. Id recommned them highly for pc gaming on the go.

Great quality and features. Great for people who don’t like to have headphones either on their ears or on top of their head. Convenient for gaming with kids to only have one in and still be able to hear if they get up in the middle of the night.

Finally earbuds for Xbox! I got mine 2 months ago and I enjoy them a lot. No complaints about mic quality. Directional hearing is comparable to my over the ear ones. Occasionally I have to go to Xbox settings to disconnect them and turn them back on to get audio. But thats few and far between and it's as soon as I start so doesnt impede my gaming.

Overall I've had a great experience with these ear buds, especially with my Xbox Series X. There aren't too many earbuds that can support Xbox so these are definitely on the top of that list. The controls are straightforward and the sound quality is nice.
The mic quality could use some work, but you really can't knock on it too much because these are mics in the ear buds and does not have a dedicated boom mic.
I've never had to worry about charging for these either as they easily last 3 -4 hour gaming sessions. One thing you should keep in mind is that to update the earbuds you need to have a windows devices so you can download and install the updated firmware

Sound quality is good. They are comfortable to wear and connect to bluetooth nicely. The only minor issue I've had is getting them to connect to the Xbox. They sometimes need to be messed with in order to get them connected although they always do.

The sound is exactly what I was looking for. I play first person shooters and I can hear people crystal clear. Mic is great but obviously for ear buds it picks up some background noise. Software is glitchy but does work 95% of the time, but if you’re not changing settings there’s no issues.

Very pleased with these ear buds! The sound quality was better then I’d expected and the unlike many ear buds I’ve come across these were very comfortable for extended use

So to start out I use them for my PS5 Pro. The audio that you get is great, the directional audio is better than my over the ear gaming heatset. So it does lack features on console, if you use them on pc you get all the features like EQ settings and all kinds of other features. So if your on console you only get a few features which sucks it should give you all the features for both pc and console. The sound is still really good and the fit in my ears is awesome has a good seal. The lows are deep and rich, the mids are clean and the highs are clear and not distorted or to high. I also like that when changing settings you have to click the front of the earbud because it's a button not touch which I love because with touch accidental touches are annoying. They aren't to hard to press but there not to light either, they're just right. So all in all for the 200$ price range for earbuds I'd put these up there with the best of em. I do recommend them if your on the market and lastley they come with a USB C 2.4 GHZ dongle but it comes with a USB C to USB A adapter if needed. The dongle can be stored inside the case. Also the case will charge them about 2 1/2 times and a 20 minute charge gives you about 2 hours.

Great product. Doesn’t near match the quality of a headset but great for casual use and to not mess your hair up or to wear a hat or hoodie while gaming. If you want earbuds for gaming these are the ones to get

These things are so much better than I anticipated. The fit is incredibly comfortable, the sound is on par with with my airpods and the anc is surprisingly great. Connecting to bluetooth took 2 seconds and the steel series app has a ton of useful features. Plus connecting to a gaming console or pc with the adapter which fits inside the case is simple. I absolutely love these things and could easily recommend them to anyway. They could have charged $200 and I would have said thats more than fair. They are that good.

The SteelSeries Arctis Nova series, particularly the wireless options, is generally well-regarded for its high-quality audio, comfortable design, and versatile features. While the price point and some potential issues with ANC or software may be drawbacks for some, the innovative features like the dual-battery system and customizable EQ options make these headsets a strong contender in the premium gaming headset market.
