Research Before You Buy!

Essentially, it's like an animated, slightly interactive picture book with a few varying paths/outcomes. Steins;Gate released on the Vita and PS3 a few years ago in the U.S., and this is essentially the same exact game, but with slight animation. There's honestly not very much animation at all, but it's definitely the best way to play this game. I "play" it for the story anyway - one of the best stories ever told, in my opinion.

Good but I prefer the original...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simply put this game had to cut content because it can't animate EVERY single scene from the original visual novel. Its understandable but the scenes they do "animate" are of poor quality and stand out. Not to mention the obvious pausing of the animation once it stops the whole scenes color tint changes and it breaks immersion. Stick to the original. I only bought this because I'm a huge fan of the series.
