I recently had an ultra short throw projector with hdmi errors and i believe it was from a powered splitter. This is much better because it only uses the power from the source and does not use external power. I recommend this item for anyone needing to have more hdmi inputs!

For the price it was available for I say it's great. I have my pc and xbox hook up to this device and it work like a charm. Would recommend for it's price.
