An old time favorite cd.When the movie cane out.it brought back memories

This is the album that broke rap open, that brutal and unrelenting style that so many wannabes would try to steal to varying degrees of success. This CD has some absolute classics that need to be listened to in order to truly appreciate the evolution of Hip Hop. This particular CD has not been remastered so it plays quieter than newer CD's but don't let that stop you from checking out one of the first bricks in the foundation of the 'Cathedral of Rap'! Don't steal it from the internet, give these Titans of the game their due...

The gangsta rap album that started it all still remains one of the greatest rap albums of all time. From the hard streets of Compton, N.W.A composed of Ice Cube, DJ Yella, Arabian Prince, Dr. Dre, MC Ren, and Eazy E still deliver their powerful messages as they did back in 1988. From start to finish this album will satisfy any fan of gangsta rap or anyone that is a straight up music fan. From the streets of Compton to your stereo or headphones, Straight Outta Compton is worth it regardless of what format you buy it on.

N.W.A. Were The Godfathers of rap music. This album is as raw as you can get and it deals with real world problems and how discrimated people of color were then. F*** the police and Steaight Outta Compton are clearly their 2 most famous songs off of this album. It’s truly a must for any true rap fan.

N.W.A. may not have been the first gangster rap group but they were the ones that brought it to the masses, launching the careers of Dr. Dre, Eazy E, Ice Cube, DJ Yella, MC Ren and Arabian Prince in the process. There are a lot of hip hop artists out there today that owe their success to the trials faced by N.W.A. This is the record that made them infamous and deserves a place in every music collection.
