I like the premise of The Strain. Although "The Master" is a little fakey. The back stories from the shop keeper are good. The introduction of the new (good?) vampires will get me to watch season 2.

Not a bad show, but season one will have you pulling your hair out allot because the writers for this show on season one were in my opinion, idiots. It has a good overall story, some decent characters (many sadly are annoying) - some of the sequences of events make no sense to anyone with a brain. But if you can force yourself through season one, it'll be worth it as season two is allot better. The biggest upsetting part of the series is how much the writers of this show made almost every character in their show who has Christian faith are scum (only one isn't).

The Master's head display case has amazing detail BUT the one big missing element here is NO DIGITAL COPY!! If this set came with a Digital Copy of the season.. it would easily be 5 stars!

I purchased this because it was inexpensive. I had interest, but had seen some not so favorable reviews of the second season. It was worth checking out for $10-$15.

Strain is not bad but for me at least it couldve been so much more, but for what it is It couldve been worse.

It's very entertaining but it's no Walking Dead. I did enjoy the history aspect of the show.

I enjoy sci fi , and i love collecting movies. So i looke foward to adding to my collection

GDToro's "The Strain First Season" delves mostly on the emotion of the main character/s interaction with the effects of the "virus." I will not spoil the narrative of this series. It is so far, so good. Can't wait for the next season.

Finally a recent TV show featuring vampires that are not wimps or brooding teenagers. If you like supernatural shows that are somewhat serious then this is for you.

The first season left me wanting and not in a good way. Felt they should have developed the story a little more before leaving us hanging for another season.

I read the books first, so I was excited but worried about them turning it into a tv show. They did a pretty good job though. Definitely worth experiencing.
