Disappointed!!!

I'm grew up with the arcade street fighters and looked forward to this as a present. Out the box the game was fun UNTIL i reached Seth. On the normal setting dude is rediculously cheap, constantly grabbing and teleporting, this does not change when you lower the difficulty setting to EASIEST. The final boss is needlessly difficult. That's a turn off about this game. I probably would not recommend this game to anyone and I'm trading it in for Modern Warefare 2, atleast with that game teh difficulty is realistic!!!

Our whole family loves Mortal Combat so were a bit disappointed with this game. We only played it a few times as the moves are hard to do and not everyone enjoyed it.

Do I have to explain what Street Fighter is?
Got a new package for under $8, which is less than a used disc at my local game store.

Best Street Fighter I Have Played...

I got the privelidge to play street fighter 4 at comic con this year and it has to be the most antisipated game this year. Although i had to wait in line for2 hours to play it, it was well worth it. Didnt get a chance to play with any of the new characters but from what i saw while i was waiting in line, they are all pretty sweet. Overall, if you are a true old school fan of the original street fighter 2 on super nintendo with the gameplay of street fighter 3rd strike, you will love the latest installment of the street fighter franchise.

About time for a good street fighter!

Being an avid fan of the originals, this one proved its worth the minute I played it! Aside from having to perform the special moves more than once to unleash it, it's a blast. The online battles prove excellent, and the new DLC Championship Mode brings the edge of not knowing who your opponent will pick. Highly recommended.

Big disappointment

I can't believe how much hype the new Street Fighter IV has been getting. After getting my thrills from Soulcalibur IV, MK vs DC, and Virtua Fighter, playing the new Street Fighter IV was like going BACKWARDS in video game evolution! My little cousins who I tried to get to play with me were wondering if I pulled out the old Super Nintendo to play this game and I had to convince them that this was a "brand new game for the Xbox 360". The combo and ultra systems are very confusing. Even using old favorites such as Ken and Ryu was just disappointing. For a 2D game, it's okay overall. But this is the 21st century and video game fighters have evolved a LOT since the 90s. Even Mortal Kombat has stepped it up a notch (even though their main lure was the gore which was incredibly toned down with their latest release). I wanted to return my SFIV game after trying to tolerate learning it for a few days. I've had it. This game made my Mortal Kombat vs DC game look like the game of the year. If you're a die hard Street Fighter fan, this game is for you. But a game that hangs on to mainly combos and counters? No finishers? Annoying announcer voice? A one word description of all this is: DISAPPOINTING.

Game is to fake and way to hard. Opponents use crazy combos even while getting hit. GAME SUCKS and graphics are awful.

Should of let it die

I just got done playing the beta of this game and was let down. They only remade this game because of the movie coming out. THe controls are horrible and the game is lackluster in the fun department. They should of let the game stay in immortality.

What's the big deal?

I don't know what the big deal is. It's a SF game. It was out a long time ago and they're bringing it back. It's a personal opinion, of course, but I don't see what everyone is getting all excited about. I plan to save my $65 and spend it on a much better and def more anticipated game than this joke.
