One of my favorite Jean-Claude Van Damme movies that I never get tired of watching. It's a interesting movie that you have a firefighter taking down a bunch of terrorists to save his family.

A great action film taking place during the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

1995's Sudden Death is considered one of the last few real good action films of the 90's. The film reunited action star Jean Claude Van Damme with prolific filmmaker Peter Hyams (Outland, Narrow Margin) for the second time after the two collaborated in JCVD's biggest US box office hit TimeCop (1994). They would eventually reunite once more in 2013's Enemies Closer. Sudden Death does not mask itself as an original film, it is one of the better "Die Hard In A..." , this time a Hockey Stadium. Powers Booth turns in a magnificent performance (as usual) as the main heavy. The film does succeed at what it sets out to do, entertain. Overall if you would like to see a beautifully photographed "Die Hard In A Hockey Stadium" and watch a fantastic fight by JVCD vs a team mascot, you won’t be disappointed. The film did well at the box office even though it had to compete with Michael Mann's Heat. The film was produced and financed independently by Imperial Entertainment (who produced 1988' Black Eagle & 1990's Lionheart for JCVD) The Blu Ray itself comes with a Digital Copy of the film.

Put Jean-Claude Van Damme in a room with Universal Pictures and you get cinematic delight!

I love Van Damne movies back in the 90s and really wanted to revisit this one. I had forgotten how much this reminds me of a Diehard clone. Good movie that has aged well. Recommended for those wanting a good action flick throwback to the 90s.

One of my favorites and one of Van Dammes best films. Directed by the guy who gave us another classic Van Famme film, Timecop. Some really great action scenes and effects, Powers Boothe is a great villain in this.

A lot of fun! Not a classic by any means but it pulls you in from the start and doesn't let go until the finale! Definitely one of Van Dammes more entertaining movies. Just a wild ride. If you like movies like Die Hard, Passenger 57 and Cliffhanger than this is worth checking out.

This is a good fast paced action movie. I only paid around $10 for the movie and wouldn't advise spending more but it is a good Van Damme movie.

Sudden Death is one of the best Jean-Claude Van Damme movies ever.

I had been looking for this on blu-ray when I finally found it available on here for pre-order. I think this is a great vintage van damme film!

An underrated 90s action classic! Think Die Hard, but in an arena. JCVD at his best!
