This was a very good movie, portraying the events before and after captain Sully had to make a decision to land his plane on water after the plane engines were hit by birds,, saving all his crew and passengers , but it's what the investigation board tried to do to him afterwards...

Although I am told that not everything was portrayed exactly as in reality, I think they did a GREAT job to express some of the pressure on the Captain following the incident, which is a part of the story most people are not aware of. Really great movie. Tom and others did well.

We all know of the heroic effort of Pilot Sully. What I did not know was the behind the scenes investigation that tried to show that the pilot and co-pilot erred in their judgment to land on the river. Mr. Sully is a smart man and a hero and proved the investigators were wrong.

What a film !. A thorough explanation into that heroic emergency landing in the Hudson river by a great pilot. Wow, I never the whole story that took place at the time. This is a in depth look into the ordeal. As usual, this is Clint Eastwood at his best.

The movie did a great job of maintaining excitement while remaining true to the facts of the incident. It was an incredible event, and I think the acting in this movie does an excellent job of showing aspects of this event that didn’t get as much press attention.

I am installing surround sound into a second room in my house. I needed to do this one on a budget. I was surprised to see how many features today's receivers have for half the money I paid for my other one a few years ago. Sound and picture are great, and the flexibility of programs is excellent. The only negative is that it doesn't support an I Pod through the USB connection. I will utilize the Blue Tooth and stream it from my phone.

Real life drama documented for all to enjoy. A true hero, using his experience and wits to save his passengers and crew. Eye opening how government analysts, looking for the truth, are bent to look for the negative. So glad we have people like Sully in this world.

We had heard about the amazing landing Captain Sully made, saving the lives of all on board his flight, but we had not heard about all he and his co-pilot were put through to prove they were not in error to have landed the plane on the Hudson. This is a wonderful film!

The NTSB tried to come down hard after the accident on Sully only to eventually be put in thier place in excellent fashion! The movie switched back and forth between the investigation and the event which usual I don't like. However it was done just right in this film!

The movie is based on true events and is done very well. I did not know all that things that went on after the landing and how they were trying to blame the crew for the crash. A very good movie to get the understanding of just went on that most people did not know.

I remember watching the news when the plane landed on the Hudson river how they said that someday they would make a movie on the pilot. This movie lived up to the wait, I found it an entertaining movie and interesting to watch and learn about more than just the crash.

MOVIES THAT ARE MADE ABOUT REAL EVENTS THAT HAPPENED ARE THE BEST TO WATCH I THINK. SURE, HOLLYWOOD MAY STRETCH IT HERE OR LEAVE SOMETHING OUT THERE. BUT ITS STILL ENTERTAINMENT THAT REALLY MAKES YOU THINK, WHOA THIS WAS REAL SITUATION FOR A PLANE FULL OF PEOPLE.

Good movie to see!!!!This is what it's like to do something correct in a millisecond decision and still have those in power to say "the computer says you are wrong". The human factor has to calculate more items due to our surroundings that a computer cannot.

This movie accurately portrays the events of the flight and forced landing. It also shares the thoughts of Captain Sully prior to the flight. Tom Hanks did a great job in this role, and I recommend this movie to anyone interested in aviation, and or this event.

Tom Hanks brings on a strong emotional performance that has you on the edge of your seat from the very beginning (even though you know how the movie works out). Definitely one I can rewatch again and again, so be sure to pick it up and add it to the collection.

seemed dull at times . reminded me of that movie flight with denzel except this was a true story / rental at best

Great depiction of the water landing on the Hudson River in New York that save a 155 lives and of the very professional pilot who pulled it off. Good insight into how stressful the investigation was on him and investigators were so sure it was his error. Investigation proved he was a hero but he and his family went through an ordeal. Tom Hanks was great as the low key professional and responsible Sully. A very good movie.

This is easily the best film of 2016. It features a compelling story, intriguing insight and an outstanding performance by Tom Hanks in the lead role. It doesn't matter if you know how this real-life story ends; it's seeing how it develops that is fascinating.

Not only entertainment, this re inactment of what happened really opens your eyes to what Sully faced that day. Not only did he save all souls aboard, he had to defend his decisions that day. Only could say "wow" his experiences as a pilot are truly amazing.

Great story line based on the true story. Loved how the movie was actually based on the events as the director actually got help from Sully himself and the stories from the passengers who actually lived through the ordeal. Best I've seen in a long time.
