This is a simple contraption for a compact camera or camcorder device. My intention is to use it for my diving trips but have yet to do so since the screw thread doesn't fit my underwater case although it does fit my camera itself.

I purchased this item for my Canon 60d thinking I would get smoother footage...but the results aren't much different. The best thing about it is that it makes the camera a little easier to hold over long periods of time.

I tried a few other products in the past till my brother told me bout this so i checked it out and wished i had known about this before. Its very light weight and if you dont like it you can always return it but i doubt youll want to return it.

Overall this is a good product a bit pricey but it is a quality piece of hardware. It surged the purpose I needed for however the mounting screw kept getting stuck in the groves and that was a bit annoying.

Overall, it is a great product for the cost. It won't get you the results of a professional, but it is better than just holding the camera in your hands, and it does make a noticable difference.

Good if is going to stay on a tripod, if you need to walk with it from different angles then you start to feel it heavy and not easy to handle

Used the video action grip to take clips under and around machines. You can extend your arm and still have relatively steady video.

It's a single piece of injection molded plastic with a rubber foam grip. The QA on it is rather shoddy. Metal pieces bent upon purchase, frame slightly warped.

The grip on this feels very natural and is easy to handle. The results are huge when comparing shots with it and handheld shots.

Bought this to be able to transition from bipod to action mode. Can attach extra self powered light on top freeing up my horse shoe for my zoom mic. Love it.

The Sunpak is quite simple to set up, it holds a reasonably heavy load, but flexes under excessive weight. I use a full frame camera on the rig for a little more stability in my video shooting. This really is a run and gun rig. If you are looking for the stabilization of a shoulder rig or steady cam then this is not for you. If you're on a family vacation filming aquariums or ocean scenes then you're golden.
