I purchased the tripod with the intention of mounting my phone to capture video footage. The tripod has proven to be sturdy enough and easy to use. I believe that this wouldn’t be the most ideal to use with a camera, especially if it’s heavier, but I do think that it’s great to mount a cellular device.

For the price your paying you end up getting more than what you think ( I bought it for 30 bucks, now I think it's like 20 lol) sure it feels fragile but with adequate care, you're gonna have a good tripod for the rest of your amateur photography days!!

A good tripod for a fairly decent price. Holds my camera firm during strong winds which was surprising for its weight. At the end, it gets the job done!

Sturdy and well made, does what it’s supposed to do. I use it to hold an iPhone 11promax for pictures and videos. Works great. I also use it to hold up a small portable projector for playing movies in the backyard. Works great too.

This stand is much more durable than previous ones. The motion capability makes for smoother transitions while remaining in the current shot. I love it!!!!

I have used this with my camcorder to record several high school soccer games. It is adaptable to different surfaces, including uneven stands and on a table top. Setup is very quick and easy. It is sturdy, but the feet may slip a little. The panning feature works fine for my purposes. It is lightweight and folds down small enough to be easy to carry.

It is a great tripod for non professional photo shoots. It gets the job done for most average pictures. Stability is good but not great when having your camera mounted. Depending on the weight of the camera it can be a bit shaky. I have not tried to use my phone but i can only imagine it would work great. The stability while taking pictures with a entry to professional camera is good.. just good. You still have to stabilize especially if the shutter button is one you have to apply some pressure on. Overall it gets the job done and you can still manage to get decent pictures.

I have been looking for a good sturdy tripods that are actually affordable for a long time and I finally found it. This tripod is so good it’s 30 I don’t have to worry about the camera falling off. It has a very strong base it’s tall enough it’s made of really high-quality metal and at the same time it’s not massive but it’s not too small either. It’s perfect.

When I first opened this tripod, I though it was cheap. But I realized it was just light weight! (Yes, there's a difference). Camera holds on there solid, and the quick connect is very slick. The light weight makes it easily portable and this does everything we need. No need to pay more when this is exactly what a tripod should be!

This stand is super easy to use. I love that it has a level on it so that I can make sure all of my photos come out nice and even. I didn’t have to read the instructions on how it operates and it was super cheap price wise but still very good quality compared to others I looked at

Functional and inexpensive. It is fine for smaller cameras and very lightweight duty. It is not as tall as hoped, but for a very basic, and relatively inexpensive, tripod, it should serve fine for occasional use.

I needed a tripod in a hurry. It seems I loaned out my other tripod and never saw it again. I found this one on the Best Buy web site, ran and picked it up. It's light weight but sturdy enough for supporting my video camera.

Pros: This is a basic, inexpensive tripod. I use this with my DSLR camera. The legs slide easily and firmly lock into place. It does what it's supposed to do: keeps your camera steady for remote photographing to avoid blurry photos. It has a "quick-release" attachment that you screw onto the bottom of your camera. I like that this attachment doesn't require a coin to operate; you can just flip up the handle to loosen/tighten it. Cons: This is did not have a dedicated "hook" so that you can weigh it down to prevent tipping during wind gusts. This is not super accurate; you may accidentally shift the camera when you tighten the locking mechanism for panning/tilting. Even though there is a leveling bubble, there's no stand-alone one to determine if your shot is exactly horizontal (are there even beginner tripods that do this?). Pro/Con: This is medium weight. It's not super lightweight / small to be a portable tripod (get a gorillapod for that). It's not heavy which means wind gusts can potentially blow it down while your expensive camera is attached (go MacGyver something so you can hang your camera bag from it while taking photos).
