Great tripod for my work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seems to work very well - still getting used to it, but seems worth the money paid. Hope it continues its good action. Better than piling books up to mount the camera!

Fantastic value tri-pod
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So this Tri-Pod is a fantastic value for aspiring photographers. It's a rather medium height tri-pod so depending on your need you may need to get something taller, but for the price it is very good with a solid locking mechanism. I would trust a mid-tiered DSLR on this Tri-Pod. I personally have a Cell Phone attachment that I use and I shoot my churches video on the tripod and it works great. It also has a built in balance on it as well. You can loosen or tighten up the arm that allows you to move it and all three legs are adjustable so if you need an odd angle you can also get it on this tri-pod. If you need more tri-pod then you'll have to spend a significant more amount of money on something taller or with more features.

Tripod that gets the job done
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband bought this for me as I needed to videotape our daughter's first band concert. I knew that I didn't want a super jerky video. He went to Best Buy, not knowing what I really wanted, but I primarily wanted something easy to use and that would be sturdy, hold our video camera up and be easy to work with when taking pictures or using the video camera. This tripod was very easy to use out of the box. The tabs to adjust the legs are easy to move to unhook and extend the legs of the tripod and they are stable when locked back down by clicking the tabs closed. There is a nice adapter that you can put on the video camera to make it easy to attach to the tripod, keeping it firmly in it's seat, even when you are adjusting it around to get the correct view!

Nice, lightweight, well-ade Tripod
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have used an older Velbon model for years. But the screw that tightens the up/down movement wore out. This is a very nice tripod. Very light weight. Very nicely built for the price and for putting on a day pack. Didn't give it a 5 only because I am waiting to see if the screw is good; but it may be perfectly fine.

Less quality than my previous Sunpak
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like it because the price is at least reasonable and the item is lightweight and useful. However, comparing it to my older Sunpak of similar model and/or design, this one - seems less durable; - its color easily faded; and - almost all parts seems to be of less quality. I would still recommend it to those who needs an affordable lightweight tripod

Surprising!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a tripod last minute and did not have time to order one online. I compared local stores in stock tripods and prices and this was on sale at best Buy. It is a surprisingly good tripod and was a great deal--very pleased.
