If you need cheap tripods, these are cheap tripods

If you need cheap tripods, these are tripods and they are cheap. They are very light and flimsy, prone to vibration if you breathe on them or step near them, and they do not pan/tilt smoothly or accurately, especially with heavier/longer lenses. On the other hand, they are lightweight and compact so they’re easy to transport and they are very inexpensive and better than nothing so when I needed a pair of tripods for a no budget project, these fit the bill. They do include quick release plates which are convenient, although the thumb screws are small and hard to grab sometimes, and they come with a phone holder attachment and a GoPro adapter, which is a nice touch. I’m not sure exactly how to rate these. Compared to a nice tripod, these are toys but for the price, they’re probably about as good as you could expect and the quick release plate and the phone and GoPro adapters add some unexpected value. Just don’t expect these to be lifelong investments: one of the leg hinges cracked the first time using them and the leg will sometimes pop out when you are opening them up but you can pop it back in and it’s still useable. I’m giving them 3 stars because the cheapness of the product is perfectly canceled out by the cheapness of the price.

Great tripod, that us light enough to carry around yet still sturdy enough to not have to worry about your camera. Includes a mobile phone adapter as well.

    Sturdy tripod, some friction-screw issues

This is a sturdy tripod that delivers on what it advertises, The only issues I have is that there is a minor wobble with a heavy camera (Canon SX60-HS) when the periscoping platform is at full height, even with the friction lock activated. To be fair, the camera's screw adapter is off-axis (see my review). The other issue is that the tilt-screw on the platform ("pitch" axis) is very hard to make small adjustments. It wants to lock in certain positions, and you just can't make tiny changes. This only comes up for things like high-zoom, but it is a bother. The roll-axis adjustment is excellent, it's too bad the same can't be said about the pitch.

Great tripod I use it to hold my ring light. I like the measuring tubes in it cause I know if it straight or tilted but it is very fragile I didn’t brake anything but I am able to tell that if I’m harsh with it it will break also the packaging was terrible the tripod basically almost didn’t make it inside the box because the box was falling apart but other than that it was a great buy for just $10 dollars when it was on sale

Very light yet stable tripod. This was bought for shooting the milky way in Grand Canyon and it did its job 100%. It works fine for a entry level DSLR camera but not sure if it can hold a professional one with bigger lenses.

We were using two of our camcorders to record son's wedding from different angles. Just wanted to set up cameras on tripods and let run unattended. Needed a 2nd tripod for the 2nd camera. This tripod worked perfectly. We were able to use the crank to get high enough to video over the heads of the seated people and capture the beautiful scenes overlooking the water at the San Diego location. The whole thing was light enough to pick up and carry inside without needing to unhook camera when it was time for the indoor reception. We captured the day and were able to present the cards we used to record to our son and daughter in law.

Does a good job. Lightweight and a sturdy tripod. I wouldn't use this outdoors (I purchased for indoor situations only). Good for beginners or someone manning a photo booth.

This is a good, solid, very lightweight tripod for travel or backup. Comes with a phone attachment as well which came in handy on my first shoot with it. Nabbed one onsale for $20 when I couldn't find my heavy duty one and it worked out great.

It's very light, which is nice, but many of the pieces also feel like cheap plastic. So far this tripod has held up to being carted around and taking basic pictures with my super-zoom point-and-shoot. I would be worried about putting too heavy of a camera on this; it will probably topple on uneven ground, or wiggle too much. Would've also been nice if this at least included some hooks to attach a strap for carrying. But, for being a cheap tripod, it does what it needs to do, and probably works for most people.

Good inexpensive tripod for iPhone photos

I wanted a tall tripod to use primarily with my old iPhone 6 and possibly other phones or cameras. I've used only the phone mount so far. It's simple and relatively intuitive to use, although the spring-loaded mounting button is a little awkward. Adjusting height and angle is also simple and intuitive. Good for casual photos. I don't worry about using the level indicator for precise alignment, so I don't know how it compares to more expensive and sophisticated tripods. Seems to be a good value for relatively low price.

I bought this stand to use when taking stock photos for my small business. It works great as intended, sturdy/durable and it is really nice that you can collapse it for storage when not in use. The price is reasonable, about average or slightly less then others I have seen.

I found this 15.00 winner nestled among the 40.00 and up full sized tripods. You really can't beat the price. Worked great to take our first family photo. All the extensions felt firm... Was actually expecting it to feel more flimsy. Would definitely buy again.

It's a well priced item it gets a bit shaky during timelapses in the wind but that's to be expected from the material it's made out of. Very good for the price
