It's light but sturdy tripod. I'll be taking it with me in some of my photo hikes instead of my old heavy tripod.

    Sturdy tripod, some friction-screw issues

This is a sturdy tripod that delivers on what it advertises, The only issues I have is that there is a minor wobble with a heavy camera (Canon SX60-HS) when the periscoping platform is at full height, even with the friction lock activated. To be fair, the camera's screw adapter is off-axis (see my review). The other issue is that the tilt-screw on the platform ("pitch" axis) is very hard to make small adjustments. It wants to lock in certain positions, and you just can't make tiny changes. This only comes up for things like high-zoom, but it is a bother. The roll-axis adjustment is excellent, it's too bad the same can't be said about the pitch.

Does a good job. Lightweight and a sturdy tripod. I wouldn't use this outdoors (I purchased for indoor situations only). Good for beginners or someone manning a photo booth.

It's very light, which is nice, but many of the pieces also feel like cheap plastic. So far this tripod has held up to being carted around and taking basic pictures with my super-zoom point-and-shoot. I would be worried about putting too heavy of a camera on this; it will probably topple on uneven ground, or wiggle too much. Would've also been nice if this at least included some hooks to attach a strap for carrying. But, for being a cheap tripod, it does what it needs to do, and probably works for most people.

This is the second time that I bought this tripod as I lost my QR plate for my first one. It's lightweight and easy to carry. The stand is also sturdy. This time, I got a QR mount for my smart phone.

I bought this tripod for my wife who is a beginner when it comes to DSLR photography. She needed a tripod to take pictures and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. This was a great purchase. It does all you need in a tripod at a fraction of the cost of some other tripods.

Good entry level tripod or to just have a spare to let someone borrow it. Got it on Black Friday deal for $10 and thats the only reason I picked it up...price and as a backup. Dont expect this to be good for video as it doesn't have fluid head and is not really fluid for videos. For stationary camera stuff, it will be okay. Light weight and easy to use. Does what its supposed to and easy to transport.

Light weight and very compact. Sturdy enough for lighter objects. Not sure it would hold a heavier object as well.

This tripod was on sale for a great price, combined with a reward certificate I had earned I walked away with this item for $5. Product is very sturdy and easy to assemble. Mainly used for family photos so no one is stuck behind the camera and left out of the pic. LOVE IT!

It's a well priced item it gets a bit shaky during timelapses in the wind but that's to be expected from the material it's made out of. Very good for the price

I needed a tripod for a few little things but did not want to spend a lot. For 30 dollars this is an absolute fantastic find. Are there better and stronger tripods out? Of course. For the few times a year I am going to use this I can not ask for more.

I was looking for tripod that I can take on trips that was lightweight, easy to set up and steady enough. So far I am pleased with this choice. It comes with only one camera plate for the quick release. In the past there were two. So better not lose the one.

Nice sturdy tripod. We bought this for our granddaughter and is nice and safe for an early teenager who is an aspiring photographer. I would not hesitate to use it myself with my camera. Although I have one, this is a very nice one too...reasonably priced also..
