I bought two of these try-pods to shoot time lapse images of a construction project. They are lightweight and held the camera steady. They worked perfectly for what I needed.

I use a Nikon 5600 with a 300 mm long zoom lens and have had no issues with the stability the only thimg you have to make sure you do is make sure you secire the latch to lock it and have a coin with you to secure the screw to the camera and base of tje tripod ot should have had a better or more user friendly way of doing this as on my gorilla tripod other that minor issue it os a good tripod for entry level or mid level photography

You won't be able to mount a heavy camera with an extra long telephoto lense on it, but if you can afford that big of a lense you can afford a better tripod. For the price, this is an excellent tripod. I use it for a video camera and boom mike. It is quite stable and has a smooth pan and tilt. It's hard to find a cheap tripod that can do a smooth pan. I'm very happy with it.

Absolutely love this tripod great item for a great price. I had a last-minute Dilemma to where I was without a tripod just before Halloween I had went through two they could not handle the weight of the projector (and those were the tripods that actually came with the kit that I bought elsewhere) I needed for that night. A Salesman in the TV Department was very helpful with obtaining specifics I needed and went out of his way to figure it out. I am more than happy with this purchase and it definitely did the job for Halloween and will be used for Christmas as well thank you guys
