Sturdy, light, easy to open and collapse, simple to use. Exactly what I needed for my small camcorder. Just wish it came with a bag even one of those cheap canvas carrying bags.

A tripod is a tripod …easy to use and quality was good for what I paid. It’s not overly compact, so it’s not something you throw into a backpack.

This stand is very good and I didn't have to spend a fortune. The levels help me in getting the camera straight and it's very flexible in changing the heights.

This is a nice tripod for the money. Easy to adjust and use. Very lightweight. A carry bag would have been nice for those times when I want to take it in the car.

Nice tripod for the money. Easy to use and feels pretty sturdy but most if not all the knobs and levers are plastic and can possible break if you're not careful. I took the tripod to a park to take some family photos, and a dog knocked over the tripod, luckily camera was not installed, and the knob for the up/down adjustment broke off.

Fantastic tripod. Bought this for our daughter for her high school video production / newscast class. She gave it to me after she graduated, I took it on tour for archival videotaping of my band’s shows, & it is serious quality. So well thought out.

We've had stands before from Walmart and Target in the 15$-35$ range and they've all been horrid with stability and quality (failing legs, weight wary, easily breakable parts). This Sunpak stand is priced in that range, and the quality is really what you would expect a 30$ stand is supposed to give. Bears weight nicely, stable enough for standard SLRs, stiff locking hinges, swivel stick… it definitely impressed! Worth it!

Bought a much cheaper tripod before this one, and barely paid more this time, but boy, is it a different story using the thing. Super, would definitely recommend!
