Good product for the price. Used it to take pictures with a Sony DSLR and it performed perfectly. Easy adjustments, nice range of heights, easy to pack and transport.

This unit does everything I needed for both of my cameras: Canon Rebel and Sony Handicam. It is stable and very solid using strong locking mechanisms. Its only shortcoming may be that it is a bit more bulky than some higher priced models when collapsed for carrying.

Works perfectly as a microphone stand. I knock stiff around on my desk way too often to have my mic clipped our sitting on my desk while streaming. This allows me to position it perfectly. Lightweight and i can use it as a back up tripod for my camera when i need to.

Nice, sturdy tripod. Better for a camera than a camcorder; I have to adjust the attachments in a weird way to get the camcorder to be level.

I enjoy this because it is light and easy to erect. I am by far not a professional and this helps me to understand the need for such a product without costing a lot but still very functional .Bought one for my grandson

I needed something fast for a Christmas party I was going to be attending that same day. It is light weight, easy to use, and isn't bulky at all to put in the car. It was easily manageable to remove my digital camera and replace it with my recorder/projector and then back again with the camera with ease.

This is a good starter tripod for people starting photography. Only reason I gave this 4 stars is because mine was missing a screw on one of the legs. Easily fixable tho. Still a good product and looking forward to using it for my photography needs.

For the price it's excellent. I've used it for several hours during a multi day volleyball tournament and it's a few ball hits but hasn't broken. It's mostly plastic but it's done the job so far.

It's a cheaply make tripod but you get what you paid for. It did the job. I used it with by laser level. It also comes with accessories to hold a phone. It's a lightweight cheap aluminum tripod.

Good overall value, though a little on the flimsy side (phone is not completely level when placed in vice).

A fully featured and affordable tripod. Excellent first encounter with new astronomical binoculars!
That is how this Sunpak PlatinumPlus tripod is being used. It is rated to have a load capacity of 8 lbs. That is perfect since the binoculars are only 3 pounds. But that is not the only important specification. It has a Quick release Plate head for 3 way camera applications. This fine value unit also has a Smartphone adapter and a GoPro Adapter for just about any other photographer's needs, newby or somewhat advanced. It is a winner.

There’s a pile of tripods to chose from. I don’t use them that often so I bought the cheapest one. It works well. Steady. The attachment that came with it for a phone did break the first day. But, the more expensive ones didn’t even come with one.
