Monopod works as expected. It doesn't extend as smoothly as one of my more expensive monopods, but it does the job at a great price. Should be good for traveling.

The Only Thing Is That I'm 6ft. , So If This Went Up About 6 In. Higher It Would Be A Lil Bit Better. It Is Very Easy To Use & Easier To Move Around At A Concert Venue. So Yes Very Pleased With It !

Good, sturdy monopole! I was worried, since I purchased it online, that it would be flimsy and not hold up my rather large Nikon Coolpix 950. It certainly holds it well, and attaches and detaches easily. It is also adjustable so that it can strap on to the bottom of my camera bag.

I always wanted one of these, but i find myself using a regular tripod rather than this. The monopod is light and works fine but its still hard to hold the camera still with my heavy camera and lens. I'm not sure how much I'll use it.

If you have a camera system that is a bit heavy for steady hand-held shots and can't lug a full tri-pod around this item will be a big benefit. It is light and attaches easily to the camera. You do need to keep a steady grip on your camera. The foot has a rubber pad which can be turned to expose a spike, depending on what type of environment you will be shooting in.
