Super Mario 3D Land is really a jewel. The level design is very very good with varied styles and gameplay hooks. It amazes me how they can add so many levels without any of it feeling stale.

I bought this game with high hopes based on my experience with the franchise and I wasn't disappointed. This game rocks! There are throw backs to the vintage games and the play is kind of like a cross between Mario 64 and Mario 3. There are secrets galore and the gameplay is tight. I would definitely recommend this to any old school Mario fans.

replaced Donkey Kong Country as my favorite 3DS game. Don't expect the detail and graphics that you might be used to on the Wii U version of the game... but this one stands on it's own. Can't put it down.

Love this game! Don't even play video games but I got this for my Lil Bro and he influenced me to try it out. To my pleasant surprise it was trully fun! Great graphics and also cool Flashback options.

I bought a 2DS about a year ago and borrowed a few older games from friends. This was the first new big title. It was fun but got a bit repetitive after a while. I like that after you fail several times it gives you the ability to be invincible. Only way to die is to fall to your death. Makes it easy for someone who isn't a great platformer to enjoy the game.

This game couldn't be any more perfect. It has all the staples of the nostalgic series, but updated for the new generation. The 3D compliments the world and brings it to life. I highly recommend!

cool 3d effects and every level is short so its a great pick up and play game for when you are on the move. But it's longer than you think. once you beat it a whole 8 more worlds show up.

As I said, beat mario game made to date, this is a must buy since it incorporates 3d really well and recommending buying a new nintendo 3ds xl to play with for ultimate gaming pleasure

I played 3D World on the Wii U and now that I have a 3ds, I purchased this one. Some levels are quite challenging, but that's what makes it fun. Would buy another game like this.

My daughter would spend hours playing the Wii U version and she would get upset when we had to run errands. Now that she has this she can play on the go practically anywhere.

This game is just pure fun! Like many Mario games before, the game is split into worlds, which have different levels. You go around and try to collect three stars. Now while it is split into levels, it does sorta have an open world feel to it. Perfect blend of old school and new school Mario.

I'm going to preface this by saying that I played 3D World on the WiiU before coming back to play 3D Land on the 3DS but this is an excellent Mario game and everything you would come to expect from one. Although I enjoyed 3D World a little more, I still had a blast with 3D Land. This is absolutely a must-have title on the 3DS.

Hands down one of the best and underrated Mario games of all time. It is a virtual tie for best Mario game. 3 is still considered the king of the platform games but I would say this is equal or a little bit better than Mario 3. They use the 3D in very well and incredible situations that are truly mind blowing. They only regret I have is that I didn’t get this sooner.

A Must for any 3DS Owner. Hours of enjoyment and replay value. Game never crashes and looks amazing. As an Adult I love it as well as my kids too!

I bought this for my wife so I haven't played this yet, but my wife played it NONSTOP until she beat it and she absolutely loved it! Recommended!

My son loves this game. He loves playing Mario on the Wii and now he can play Mario on his 3ds anywhere. That makes him a happy camper which makes me a happy camper.

My son is 7 and got this game for Christmas and is having a blast with it. Doesn't sound like it's too hard, but is definitely a lot of fun.

I've been a fan of the Super Mario series since the Nintendo 64 was out. This game reminds me of Super Mario 64 a lot and I'm happy with it.

Can't go wrong with Mario..this why I bought the 2ds and plus it was on sale..the game it pretty addicting and fun. Playing Mario in 3d is better then 2d..

Loving this original Mario game. This game rings back so many memories as a kid. Love being able to interact and play this game together my son and I.
