This game is absolutely amazing! I've played it for a while and the fun is never ending, I never get bored and there's always something new to it. The nostalgia about playing all those game styles from the Mario Bros. franchise is incredible. The possibilities with this game are endless and its replay value is infinite. A game recommended to all people of all ages.

This is simply a great game that people of all ages can use to play endless Mario levels, or use the well-designed creation tools to create one's own levels. The Gamepad makes the process easy and intuitive, and my five-year old was obsessively making whole levels with minimal help on day one. This is, quite possibly, the best title on the Wii U to date.

When I preordered this game I had an idea it would be fun, but I really didn't imagine how much fun. For the first 72 hours that I owned this game it was hard for me to stop playing and do, you know, adult stuff, and I haven't had that feeling about a game since I was in college. Get this game, it's fun to build and play levels others have created.

I got this game for my wife because she loves Nintendo. She watched people play this game on Twitch and saw all the cool levels other have made. So wanted to try some of the levels and create some of her own. She is addicted to it and stays up late to play and create. I suck at games but if it keeps her happy, then I give this game 5 stars.

Mario Maker is a Mario fan's dream come true. Unlimited possibilities abound in this Mario experience, allowing people to create and play endless levels in various Mario worlds. Unfortunately, the endless possibilities also means a ton of trash, from levels so easy it was obviously a person's first attempt to levels that are only designed to troll the player. Unfortunately, this fault lies mostly in Nintendo's lack of a sophisticated curating system. But if you can get past the garbage, this is truly a diamond in the rough.

The whole family has enjoyed this game, from the four year old to the adults. The whole point of the game is to make and design your own boards and then post them up online for others to play and review. It has promoted creativity in our house and is never boring. Every time we play, it is different. Great game for all ages.

Super Mario Maker allows you to create and upload your created levels using a simply system that allows you to drag and drop assets onto Mario levels. This makes design simple to learn but also allows for an amazing amount of creativity. Levels being uploaded also brings a never-ending list of available levels to play.

With a huge amount of content that can be unlocked, and limitless levels to create, share, and play, Super Mario Maker is a phenomenal deal. Inspiring fun, creativity, and teaching real skills in game design, with new content being added on via free updates, this is something any gamer should have in their library.

Super Mario Maker is a very good game for old or new fans of the Mario series. Creativity can run wild as you design zany levels, and then you can share those for people to try! Add in the limitless levels you can download for yourself to play, and you have a game that will entertain you for hours upon hours!

Right from the beginning, Mario Maker is incredibly easy to use to make fun levels. There are tutorials, but everything's very intuitive. I didn't even use the tutorials after the starting lesson (there's a new one with each batch of items, which unlock as you play). The ease of use, combined with the tried-and-true Mario formula, makes it hard to put down once you pick it up. As for playing, the game plays like Mario, which is to say it plays extremely well. The included levels are fun, but the user-created levels are hit or miss. Sometimes you'll find an awesome level, which can lead you to more from the same creator, and sometimes you'll find a level that is clearly a first or second attempt. The sheer number of levels means there's plenty to play. My one big complaint with the game is the Miiverse posts. On popular levels so many pop up that they can actually block your view of the level, making it hard to play. You can get around this by downloading the level to your own editor, but you should be able to simply turn the Miiverse posts off.

Absolutely amazing!! It's very user & beginner friendly. It has very easy to follow tutorials & you should be up & running building your own levels in a very short time!! Make them as hard or easy as you want, then have family & friends try them out!! You can even share your creations online!! Very cool!!

For those of you who like classic Mario games this is for you. Not only is there hundreds of levels to play within the game but if you go online you have thousands of stages to choose from. The stage making function is very easy and there is a lot options to choose from to make a truly custom level.

This is just an incredible game. It's so simple and intuitive it's hard to put it down. Nintendo has created a really great experience and it's so easy to create and share levels, while experiencing others' creations. Highly recommended for any fans of Mario nostalgia, platforming, or level design.

Nintendo has hit a home run with Super Mario Maker. It is much more than a toolbox - it is the greatest Super Mario 2D game ever devised. With the 10 and 100 Mario challenges and online course availability, the possibilities for new fun challenges are endless. This game is truly a masterpiece.

This game is fantastic. It's a little slow in my opinion to get into it, while you are getting use to the mechanics and unlocking addition items to use, but once you get in to it, it's great! And the ability to give codes for your levels to friends to challenge them to your level is awesome!

It is a shame that it took so long to come out, but Mario Maker is exactly the kind of game needed on the WiiU. It is clever and fun. It is a great game for families to play together. Further, much like Splatoon, it continuously adds content that expands the game and keeps things fresh.

Pre-ordered this and it arrived on release day. This game is great!! If Mario is a favorite of yours like it is mine then this is a must get!! Not only do my 3 kids love it, but I do too. We have been making levels and challenging each other to complete them. Very happy with this purchase.

This is such an incredible release, wonderfully put together, multi-dimensional gameplay, allowing the playing of everyone else's custom levels, as well as ability to create and play your own levels, and share them. So many different ways to create levels, you can be incredibly creative!

While my son plays this more than I do, who didn't ever want to build their own Super Mario worlds?! Switching between the different games is seamless and the graphics adjust right away. It's great to see what kind of worlds and situations you can create for yourself. It's endless fun!

This is a well made game, but better then that, it is an endless game. There is so much content to play online, and so many different methods of levels that people made. Also, the touchpad makes it so easy to make whatever idea pops in your head. An excellent game by all accounts.
