This game is awesome to say the least. You can create any type of level you want and get to share it with the world. Old school Mario gamers will love the nostalgia. The possibilities are endless!

Its hard not to love this game! Its very old school meets new school and the fact you can build your own levels along with playing levels built by other players is awesome. Highly recommend!!

Any fan of games in the Super Mario Bros. series should pick this game up. The levels are easy to create, and you have thousands of user-created levels to play online. Defintiely recommended!

Has all styles of Mario from the beginning to now, love it. Once you make it through the beginning and can start playing other people's maps there is an unlimited amount of things to try.

This is a game which makes the kids think, plan, and then play. Not just the usual run and jump game - we love the fact that they can build their own levels and play levels others created!

Nintendo has created a rich legacy with their Mario platforming franchise. With Mario Maker, they now hand off the tools to unleash all sorts of wonderful creativity and madness. Creating levels is easy and a joy to be had. I've gained a deep appreciation of how carefully Nintendo has crafted their Mario games after attempting to do so myself. Playing other users' levels can be more of a mixed bag of emotions. Some levels are bursting with novel and amazing ideas, while many others are just utter nonsense. To find the gold buried among all the garbage, I recommend starring the good levels and then clicking on the creator of that level. From there, you can play other levels they've made or even have starred themselves. This will much improve your odds of finding the greatness that this game has to offer. This game provides a nearly endless amount of content. The level creation tools are simple and powerful, making excellent use of the Wii U Gamepad. The online user-created levels range from simple and kid-friendly to hardcore in their complexity and skill requirements. Different graphic sets will give older players a good nostalgia kick while also varying Mario's move set. All in all, this game comes highly recommended!

This game is highly addictive. It's exciting to tap into your creative side to make the courses.

For any true Mario-game afficionado, this game is the bomb... My son loves it because he gets to create the levels himself and can go crazy adding all the fun things he loves.

this game is great, not only playing the stages but its amazing how enthralling the stage making is and engaging the review process. default stages though are kinda blah.

Super Mario Maker is what every old school Mario fan could have hoped for. The amount of variety in the creation tools allows for an almost infinite number of unique levels. The way you can combine different items and enemies makes for situations that have never occurred in any previous Mario games. If making levels isn't your thing, then you can still have a blast playing all the levels that come built-in, or any of the thousands of levels made by other people all over the world. Anyone who owns a Wii U should definitely get this game (unless you dislike 2D side scrolling platformers). I highly recommend this game.

Mario maker is pretty fun. My son loves making his own levels and enjoys playing other people's stages online. It gets addicting when creating your own level. A must get.

Create-a-game games are tough to get right, but Nintendo nailed it with this one. From simple tutorials to a charming user interface, Super Mario Maker throws you into the creative action with contagious enthusiasm. The great thing is that there are thousands of other user-created levels to play, so there's always something new. The curation of these levels could use improvement (even some highlighted by Nintendo's social media outlets can be underwhelming), but when you do encounter a dud, at least you can easily move on to another. Or go back into the editor and show the world just how a level is done right.

Whether you're new to Mario or a veteran, it's great fun building levels and playing them. Going online and playing other peoples levels is really fun too! Awesome game!

My Son and I love this game!! You can make crazy Mario levels or just play levels other people make. It's the Mario game that will last forever always new things to try.

Love being able to make my own levels and share with my friends. I do wish the tools were a little less limiting, and there were more to it. But it's fun regardless.

Mario Maker is a really fun game. The levels that come on the disc are great, and when you add the ability to download levels it makes the possibilities endless.

Lots of fun to make levels, it slowly gives you more and more tools as you play which helps it being overwhelming for kids. It's like a never ending Mario game.
