May be I favorite switch game! This game is a challenge, but is a TON of fun!

In this old school platformer, you play the unlikely protagonist of a wad of meat rescuing your girlfriend made of gauze (Bandage girl) from the equally unlikely antagonist Dr. Fetus (a baby in a jar). The game only has two buttons (jump and sprint) and the controls feel great, as they should in a platformer. With that said, be prepared to die a lot. Super Meat Boy calls back to a time when games were simpler, yet more challenging. Feel free to check out this great modern platformer.

Super Meat Boy is hard and very challenging but it's also fun, too. It definitely challenges you to go farther and when you get past a difficult part, you feel triumphant. The sound effects are great and graphics are fitting. This is a definite buy. Especially for this Best Buy exclusive physical release! Be sure to check out the creators other games he made, also on the Switch.

Simple controls but difficult gameplay. You die, a lot, in this game but through trial and error and experience and perseverance and luck and...you get the picture...you finally get though those tough as nails levels. And when you do, boy does it feel good. Meatboy Is all charm and even more grit. Get this limited physical release while you can!

Super Meat Boy has been around for quite some time. It is not a newer sequel, to confirm it is the same old, die a thousand deaths, Super Meat Boy. You either love it or hate. So I'm not going to review the game itself, that has been done to death (pun intended? sure why not). I am instead reviewing the fact that this is a physical release. The company Limited Run Games put out this physical release like so many others they have and I am a particular fan that they have partnered with Best Buy for some of their more popular releases. The cover art is different from the one Limited Run sold on their website, but that makes little difference to me. It comes with a cool little comic/manual insert in the box as well (which many physical releases lack). Very happy with this purchase.

The game is nice and quick. I like that I can enjoy it in small bursts. Even with all the deaths the respawning happens very quickly, which I appreciate. The game can be difficult but I find it fair if you're not going for 100%. I personally enjoy playing this casually.

This may be one of the most challenging games out there, but it is so enjoyable that it masks the difficulty levels. Having a physical copy is especially awesome when it comes from Limited Run Games! Pick this up before they’re out of stock!

Fun stuff, game came in perfect condition. Neat physical copy. We enjoyed the challenge of this title. It reminded us of retro gaming.

It's a great game! I played it back when it came out years ago, and I'm happy to have it again on Switch. It even came with a manual! It's only a limited release so pick up a copy ASAP.

10 years after its initial release, Super Meat Boy still holds up as one of the best platform games of its kind. Stages are short and sweet, but the challenge and speed make the game both addicting and highly replayable. In my opinion SMB controls best on the Switch, especially when playing with the joy-con due to the shorter joysticks allowing you to change direction quicker than you could with taller joysticks. While the digital version is cheaper and more convenient for jumping in and out of the game, the physical version is still a nice addition for the collectors since it's complete with a mini art book/instruction manual and double-sided cover art.

It was great on Xbox 360 and it runs and looks great on the Switch. Really unexpected but it's a good surprise that's it came out for Nintendo. Fun game but very challenging.

I was so glad to see Best Buy carry Limited Run Games Meat Boy is your classic run jump platform game looks and plays great on the Switch perfect for on the go.

Definitely a challenging game and it requires a lot of patience and strategy. Very fun especially when u play the versus mode with another person.

So glad Best Buy teamed up with Limited Run Games to release some select titles for retail, this being one of them. This one is special because it's out way before the LRGs copies on their site. I'm glad I can own this physically instead of on my Switch's memory. As for the game, it's a pretty challenging platformer, but runs pretty well on the Switch. Any complaints are just on the Switch's joycons, those take some getting used to.

This game is very challenging but at the same time fun to play!

I missed the opportunity to buy this for the switch the first time Limited Run Games put this game out. Thankfully BestBuy now appears to have a relationship with Limited Run games, so I was given another opportunity. This game is great. I love playing it with friends. The levels can get pretty challenging, so you never get bored.

I’ve never played SMB till it popped on the switch it’s a VERY challenging game super precise platforming mechanics that punish if ur off a fraction of an inch bought to grow my LRG physical collection

very old game but i had to get it for the switch for the portability. a classic game with platforming done well. get if you can find it. limited run is only selling a few limited copies at bestbuy.
