Movie plays fine, but none of the other selection options work on either of the 2 discs. I think these DVDs are defective. Even though this is such a classic movie, it kind of defeats the purpose of owning the "2 disc special edition."

Vudu doesn't recognize the code on this steelbook, so I can't get a digital copy from Vudu's Disk to Digital program.

Its ok when a movie has a little filth in it. I was hoping this movie would stop the nastiness after a while. But it just kept diving into more gross stuff as time rolled on. I absolutely hated this movie.

This was a vulgar movie with so much profanity and disrespectful language. I expected funny, but I was so offended I couldn't finish watching it. I gave it to an immature guy at work who appreciated it.

Superbad is an interesting type of romantic comedy: it centers less on the boys' attempts to get with the girls they like than on their close friendship. Thus, it becomes a sort of genre of its own: the "bro"mance. The story revolves around Evan and Seth, two high school seniors who are going to different schools next year and are getting ready for their last chance to get girlfriends before college. Even, the skinny quieter kid likes Becca, who is a sweet girl in some of his classes, and Seth, an overweight loudmouth, likes Jules, who he has known for a while and who is in his Home Economics class. They find their chance when their geeky friend Fogell gets a fake ID. THey off-handedly tell Jules about it, and she asks Seth if he could be the alcohol provider for a party she's hosting. Seth sees this as his chance to score with Jules, and Evan hopes to do likewise with Becca at the party. Thus begins a veritable journey to get liquor and bring it to the party before it's too late. This is a very funny film, peppered with highly quotable lines (none of which are appropriate for this review) and amusing characters. Fogell in particular is very funny, with his fake ID declaring his name to be "McLovin" and the series of misadventures he gets into with a pair of goofy cops who think he's 25. What makes this film so winning is the fact that the friends stand by each other through thick and thin, and by the end of the night they've really learned something about themselves and their friendship. This is a really fun movie, and if you have yet to see it I recommend that you pick it up.

who knew that this movie would pave the way for movies to go even further then this one ever imagined. the movie is really interesting being that the kids in the movie are trying to have best end of high school exsperence possible but doing that is alot harder then they exspected. the start of the movie when they need to get boose and that plan is foiled when they get a bad fake id, then getting side tracked on the way to the party which in turn lands them with some cops who are anything but professional. finally they get the party and have a great time to discover like most of us after high school people go their own ways and new live and relationships are created.

This is one of my favorite comedies. It falls under the American Pie, Old School, and Talladega Nights type of humor. This is a vulgar movie with choice words, so definitely do not watch with younger children. It is a fairly original story with all the wonderous twists and turns you can expect from a comedy. I don't think I stopped laughing once in the movie. If you didn't enjoy the movies I compare it to it may not be for you, but it is worth renting if you are unsure. If you like any of those goofy, off the wall comedies then this will make you die laughing. AWESOME MOVIE!

Thank God for SuperBad. I feel like my mind has not felt such joy since the day I discovered gummy bears and let me tell you that was a glorious day. SUperBad combines the humor of twelve grade bullies and BS high schoolers. A combination that would scare off most, actually makes me want to be a writer. Its true a movie so good it will change your life. Quick wit is just the half of it, the casting in this movie is awesome. The chemistry between Hill and Cera is like a very alternate life styled marriage. Come on stop reading this go buy it. One word: McLovin

Funniest movie I've seen in a long time. The casting is superb from top to bottom and Seth Rogen and Bill Hader as two cops are laugh out loud 'til you vomit funny. The writing is a great mix of very clever and just dumb enough. I realize that comedy evolves and what's really funny now just isn't as funny later (see old episodes of South Park to figure out what I mean), but I've got a feeling that this movie might stand up as well as Animal House or Stripes some day. Remember, "People don't forget."

OMG this was a funny movie. High school kids or kids just leaving high school would really get a kick out of Superbad. The situations in the movie can totally be related to and the actors make you remember what the high school years were like. Seth (Jonah Hill) was the funniest perverted kid ever, the lines he had in this movie make you laugh till you cry. I reccomend this, GET IT!

Hilarious movie. The character dialogue is extremely funny. R rated so definately not for the kids. I was more impressed by the audio of the film than the picture. The picture quality was only slightly better than the regular dvd on an upconverting dvd player. The audio was great. Anytime a song came on in the movie, my speakers really handled it nicely, sounded like I was right in the movie. Being that this is blu-ray, I would only reccomend the blu-ray version if you have a receiver that can decode HD audio formats, otherwise I would stick with the regular dvd, as again the picture quality was only slightly better than a good upconverting dvd player.

Superbad is a great addition to your collection if you're a comedy fan. Up until it's release, Jonah Hill was simply that recognizable actor in the background from various films. Superbad helped launch his career (and Michael Cera's) to where he seemed to star in 3 movies a year from 2008 to present. There are many memorable quotes and laughs of course as well.
