    If I had it to do over again I would not buy this product. I would have gone with another company. Every year I have to buy a new remote and they don't sell a more robust remote so I am stuck with it. I will be sure to tell everyone I know nit to buy viper remote start systems. I called the company and they said they would send me a replacement and they never did, bad service all the way around. Lesson learned.

    I paid $35 for the Viper at Best Buy and they wanted another $35.00 to program it for me even though the details on the package said it was easy to program. I returned the item to Best Buy and found a Viper at a different store. They sold it to me and programmed it for a total price of $45.00. I told Best Buy I would not be back.

    This remote works just as advertised. I bought this remote to replace my previous one with a missing back. This new one is much sturdier and I have no concern about the back coming off. The price at Best Buy was about half that a Viper dealer wanted.
