Good remake

I remember the original version and I like that this version is hitting on social issues as well and loved that it takes place in Atlanta instead of New York or Los Angeles. Trevor kept my attention and it doesn't hurt that he's a nice piece of eye candy.

Decent Movie Overall

I am a big fan of the director, Director X, whom is a well renowned hip-hop director. I had my reservations initially, but I was surprised at that plot since I did not see the original before this remake. Trevor Jackson carries the plot well and is very smart in this role. Movie has decent action with hip hop cameos.

A must watch!

Three of my favorite characters play leading roles in there, Michael K. Williams, Trevor Jackson and Jason Mitchell. Love them together. Definitely needs a sequel.
