I am glad they decided to release this on blu- ray. Seems like some tv shows only come out in dvd. Melissa Benoist is cast perfectly for Supergirl! She comes across so wholesome! I also like how they didn't make the show so girly. If you are comic fan you must try and see this!

I liked this show and glad that the CW picked it up for it's 2nd Season after CBS did not renew it. Looking forward to the crossover episodes with The Flash; Arrow and DC's Legends of Tomorrow. If you haven't seen Supergirl I suggest that you do. You will not be disappointed.

This was a really good show. It took a few episodes to really get off the ground but it doesn't disappoint. It has drama, action, comedy, romance and best of all, Supergirl. Melissa Benoist is amazing in the lead and the other actors do a great job. Can't wait for season two.

Just like Legends of Tomorrow I greatly think they should have created steelbooks for these like they did for The Flash season 2 and Arrow season 5. That would have been exciting to say the least. But for what this item is and for its cost it is a highly recommended disc.

It started out kinda slow and of course I wasn't going to give the show a chance, but I've grown to enjoy the characters and this hero actually cares for the people that lives in the city. If you enjoy a hopeful hero, this will be a great addition to your video library.

I have always been a fan of Superman, but as a close second - Supergirl is a well done show. Maybe on par with The Adventures of Lois and Clark. and speaking of that show, Dean Cain makes an appearance in Supergirl as Kara's adoptive father. Another appearance in the show is the actress who played Kara in Smallville.

I can't believe it's taken this long, but DC comics has finally given Supergirl a proper home on the small screen and one can only hope this leads to bigger things down the road for the character. Bonus UV copy was a pleasant surprise. Excellent packaging.

We watched Season 1 and are very happy so far. Waiting for Season 2 on BR since we are getting caught up on Arrow and Flash due to the crossover episodes with Supergirl So far, enjoying the series immensely. Can't wait to see how everything all ties in.

Building on the success of Arrow and Flash, Supergirl offers another fresh take on a classic DC character. The first season includes plenty of DC characters that will keep seasoned fans entertained and still offer a quality show for the non-comic readers.

I'm not a fan of DC's "grim dark" universe, which is why I was really happy to see how this Supergirl TV show was done. It's DC the way I remember DC comics looking and feeling decades ago, before comics decided to be angsty, overbearing and boring.

Supergirl is a fun and enjoyable "good girl" superhero show. It's lighter fair for sure, but don't let that fool you. She's inspiring, cute, and funny and the overall plot of the show is complicated and detailed enough to keep every fan engaged.

I love watching this show, but now I can re watch it in binge fashion. The best episode was the one where The Flash crossed over. I love seeing the bloopers, and deleted scenes and all the other extras.I love my Tv on blu ray. Yippee!!!!

Really enjoy these shows on the CW and with Supergirl on CBS. Season 1 is a bit slow, just like every show, because it builds up to more characters being added to the show. Still a great show and recommend everyone to give it a shot.

I really enjoyed watching this show when it aired, and definitely enjoyed watching the Blu-ray set. The picture is fantastic, as expected, and there are deleted scenes and a few other bonus features that make this a worthwhile purchase.

This show has a great storyline. It has extremely well done special effects. Melissa Benoist is a talented actress. Her shy smile really adds to the character. A lot of great acting in this show. New comers and others that are known.

As far as these Berlanti DC shows go, I don't find this show as enjoyable as Flash or Arrow, but I like it better than Legends of Tomorrow. It's lighthearted and fun which puts some people off...but I don't like shows that go out of their way to be dark and edgy (like Jessica Jones).

Pretty much what you expect from a superhero movie, all the plots are similar. Melissa Benoist is excellent as supergirl and Jeremy Jordan brings comical relief as her sidekick. Extras are good, can never go wrong with a gag reel.

This show was not meant for me, but I loved it anyway. Never been a fan of the comic book movies that are so popular but every television version I've loved. Something about long format versus short? Highly recommended show.

This season had its ups and downs but overall I like it. She's quirky, she struggles with who she is and wants to be and juggling her job with her friends and "extra curricular activities". She's the superhero we could all be

As the series progressed it got more entertaining and well done. Calista as Cat Grant was a wonderful casting as she always keeps those around her on their toes. The story lines are superb. Can't wait for season two to begin.
