Using 2 PB1000's to compliment B&W front speakers in a 2000 cu ft Room - Really good combination. Yamaha AVR to drive them works fine. You can feel the lows in your chest. Very happy with the results.

Works extremely well. Very loud in a 25 × 12 foot media room with 10 ceilings. A second one would really rock it loud.

Large sub woofer, great bass and will shake your house while playing movies. Not boomy, seems to be just right.

For the monwy this thing is a beast! Ive spent more on car audio that hasnt handled the low frequencies this well definitely buying a second one

I did a lot of research before buying this sub. For a comparable price, there are a few brands i was looking at including Polk and Klipsch. What i liked about this sub , is the low frequency range which you can really feel when playing a movie with heavy bass. very pleased with my purchase

I didn’t expect this. My room is around 14x22 it easily fill the space. Easy to hook up and adjust. Loving it.

The amount of bass that comes out of this sub is immense — it completely elevated my surround system to a new height. On the down side, it also now means I can’t put the kids to bed and watch a movie... it’s strong enough to vibrate the upper floors of the house.

After reading reviews and researching a new subwoofer in the $500 range for over a year, I finally landed on the SVS PB-1000. No regrets. After just a few minutes to open and install it, it took just a few more minutes to tweak my AV Receiver’s speaker configuration to get this woofer woofing. It fills the room with low end and rumbles richly for music and movies alike. I love the way it sounds and feels rumbling the room.

Definitely worth the money. I would buy again and recommend this sub.

This is the best value. Hooked up to my Denon AV, it delivers unbelievable lows (19hz shakes the room) and excellent highs.

Very impressed with this subwoofer!!! Such a tight low end. I listened to what critics were saying about how good Klipsch subwoofer is, not even close the low end was so muddy and basically noisy!!! Even the speaker box sounded hollow. SVS has won me over. I’m now looking into their Ultra tower speakers.

Very good reproduction of Base. I have not had it very long but as I ran all my demo DVDs the bass guitars and the bass drum actually sounded like they're supposed to. Not just a thump thump. I actually took some of the lower Bass responses out of my full tower front speakers and added it to the sub. Still tweaking the crossovers but so far I like the sub

This thing is great. Very loud and will rattle your teeth. I upgraded the the Pro version for app control.

Bass is super punchy, even at high volumes, although you don’t need to turn it up very high to feel that “just right” low end. If you want accurate bass for home theater that won’t sound muddy for overbearing, you will regret it if you spend less. This sub is priced just right.

Was truly shocked at just how well this subwoofer performed. I went from two NHT sub 2's that both recently failed after 15 years to this little banger and have never been happier. This has performed with a crisp richness and made home theater fun again. Buy it you'll truly be happy you did.

Catches the low 20hz-40hz bass really well. This thing will shake the house if you crank up the volume

I wanted to add another subwoofer to an existing SVS PB12-NSD after upgrading my TV. I chose this ported subwoofer to match, and it integrates very well. I use it mainly for movies, and it's solid below 25Hz. SVS makes high quality subwoofers at reasonable prices.
