After having the SVS subwoofer for a couple weeks I can tell you there is no other more balanced subwoofer on the market. It has great mid bass and hits the low end with a room shaking shock wave. I will be building a home theater within the next year and this sub and it’s twin will be in it.

With movies, this subwoofer delivers a visceral thump, which is not surprising. However, I was surprised by the subtlety with music.

Amazing Sub for the price. Fills my small theatre room 14ft x 9.5ft with plenty power left. Sound quality is superb. Easy to connect to my Receiver.

WOW! This is such a step up from my previous sub. It's so clean, and has the right amount of rumble to make you feel like you're in the movie. I love it

Updated sound system to stereo only. This subwoofer is awesome. I use it in a small room with a 2-channel Denon Receiver. The Bass is very tight and accurate. Highly recommended.

Easily the best Subwoofer under $500. This is what I consider to be the only "entry-level" subwoofer to get. Don't waste your money on something else.

My husband needed this much more than I did. I nearly spit when I found out how expensive it was but he is sooooo Hppy. The whole room vibrates and the sound is great.

Very good sub , hits pretty low/hard sounds good the automatic on function is not very sensitive though so have to turn the volume up for it to sense the signal then turn it back down , still hard to beat for the price , its unfortunate that SVS had to manufacture in China though

Bass extends LOW great sub. A quality made sub like this will beat out any consumer grade 12inch sub out there

anyone in need of a powered subwoofer at an attractive price, this is the one you want. Tight bass is delivered effortlessly. If you have a large room, buy the ported sub and a smaller room, buy the enclosed sub. Velodyne, this is your competition in this price range.

Very nice subwoofer for its price. I had to make several adjustments to my 5.1.2 Atmos setup for it to provide the bass I was hoping for. Finally happy with it.
