First, this is large. It’s a 15” diameter cylinder that stands about 4 feet tall. Most people want this to save floor space. Granted, this takes up far less footprint space than a similar SVS sub, but anything that takes up a 15”-17” spot of your floor is still larger by most standards. On to what it does. The sound quality is superb. Fast firing which keeps up with music without breathing hard or trying too hard. Deep base with the ability to change the crossover point on the fly. I’ve used this on carpet and hard floor and had great results on either surface. The deep black sock is great as it tends to fade into th background in a room. The piano gloss top is beautifully done, but not something you’d want others to use as a table for many reasons. I wouldn’t hesitate to reccomend this sub for music or home theater installations.

SVS PC-2000 is a great addition to my Home Theater. My HT measures 12x18x8 feet and this little giant placed in the back corner creates beautiful bass for all my movies and music. The cylindrical form and the down firing design suits very well for me. It can rustle or rumble or roar where needed. Great sub!

I'm making a huge jump from a Polk PSW10, so take my review with a grain of salt. This thing is nuts. When running the calibration on my AVR, I set the volume knob halfway like I normally would and the receiver set the sub output at -12! When I tested it out with the calibrated settings, I was a little disappointed, but I had a WHOLE LOT of headroom left. So, of course, I cranked up the sub output on my AVR and turned the volume up a couple notches on the back of the sub and WOW!! I've never been able to "feel" bass like this outside of the theater. I'm not an audiophile and I can't pick up on all the nuanced frequencies that this thing is capable of, but I can tell you that I have zero buyer's remorse. I was pretty hesitant to spend so much on a single subwoofer, but this thing truly performs. I would absolutely recommend this subwoofer to anyone looking to bring their home theater up to an entirely different level. Side note: My fiancee is more or less disgusted with the way this 40 gallon, jet-black water heater looks in our house, but I won her over with the first movie we watched ;)

I never thought I'd buy subwoofer that costs this much, but feels it's worth it. I like how it looks different from the other subs. It's tall and cylindrical. I'm not an audiophile but I'm very satisfied with this.

What a difference an excellent subwoofer makes to the movie watching experience. You can't go wrong with this model. Highly recommended.

This is my second sub from SVS. The sub's are great. Very clean and low. I bought 2 of them to place on each side of the room. 2 is kinda overkill for my room.........but why not

This thing is amazing and is most for anyone wanting deep bass with a small footprint. This thing shakes the house with ease and plays crazy low. Worth the money in every way.

Wow! The PC-2000, I must say I am very pleased and very impressed with it's performance. I have been researching sub-woofers and vacillating over what to get for months and months. After finally settling on the PC-2000 due to it's relatively small foot print VS it's potential output, I must say, I am extremely satisfied with my decision. This sub hits LOW, LOUD, and CLEAN! I have a fairly large space (+4000 cubic ft) and this sub is more than adequate to fill the room with gobs of thunderous bass. It's very impressive. When it's hitting 20hrZ and below, it literally rattles the pipes in my walls. it's crazy!
