I actually bought this as a gift, but I got the chance to watch it. The video looks solid. The show itself is actually great, but it was sadly cancelled so it doesn't really have a fulfilling conclusion. I mean, it's not like a cliffhanger, but it doesn't really feel complete. Also, the absence of bonus features is unfortunate. Still, the recipient was happy.

There are great moments of horror and great visuals of horror too. I find it very likeable at times. There are many members in the cast that i hold in very high regard. There are inescapably laughable moments too though. The main characters absurd dismissal of proper PPE as an infectious disease doctor followed a scene later imploring all staff to wear PPE because she doesn't want any secondary infections on her watch to then walk into the ifectious disease unit overtly missing the PPE she just mentioned......I must be stupid. It's like they want to bounce between a cool tv show with sexy people walikng around and they don't know how to mesh that with the horror or infectious disease environment they've created.

Swamp Thing was a series that was canceled after airing it's first episode.There are various rumors about why but it's a shame because based of this one season,there was a lot of potential.I think the show stumbled a little in it's finale due to the effect that it's episode order was cut down at the last minute.The show looks and sounds great on Blu Ray.

This series does justice to the longtime DC supernatural character. If you don't know anything about him, this is a great introduction. Unfortunately, this is the only season of this show as it was cancelled after only one season.

Loved it - clearly intended to go on for more than one season, but it works OK as it is. B science fiction/horror/soap opera campy fun. Stock characters scary moments cheesy effects in a Southern swamp - the creature is the good guy. Ian Ziering as a "guest star" Whats not to Like?

This was a dark adaptation with a movie like budget for scenery. Had a horror like feel to it while watching it. I thoroughly enjoyed this series and hope they revive it for season 2 on HBO Max

This show is what true DC can be and Is about, great acting, great special affects, great story development. If you want a near perfect show to watch this is the one, wether you’re a DC fan or not. Only downside they canceled the show which is just terrible from Warner bros part.

This was a fun shown to watch! The swamp thing effects/costume were very good, the other practical effects were also very good. The special effects were fair, TV quality. If you're a fan of swp thing, definitely check this out. Shame there won't be a season 2...

I LOVED this series, it is a super gripping and suspenseful story of a tragic DC Comics character with a really good story and they told it well in this series. It is a real shame that it got cut short and was cancelled due to a supposed clerical error...

Before the second episode of Swamp Thing had even aired, Warners had had already decided to cancel the series, cutting it down from 13 episodes to ten. A big shame, as the series is excellent and we will never know what we missed in those remaining episodes.

Can’t pass a Blu-ray with a great price tag. Wasn’t able to catch this show when released so was lucky enough to come across this Blu-ray. This series is a bit dark. Probably not intended for the smaller comic fans in the house. Interesting story, nice fx, solid acting.

Amazing series, why this was cancelled, I will never figure out. Some bs. Enjoyable first season that mostly wraps itself up, enough to enjoy without a cliffhanger that haunts you. So, feel free to enjoy it :)

Our son had to buy this; the series was really great compared to the movies from back in the day. Too bad it was cancelled. We would have loved to see where the series went.

This was incredible it was a dark horror sci-fi series in the swamp I want season 2 they made a horrible mistake canceling this acting was good special effects were amazing so sad because this show was so good and no season 2

One the most underrated characters in the DC universe with his two 80's & 90's movies that didnt do justice. Now we have a series that tells the story & the special effects are top notch for what this needed..!

A familiar face from Teen Wolf. As well as another old sitcom star. This again was interesting to see what they were going to do with the story. Sad part is that it ended with just 1 season. Still a good watch.

This show is sooooo good. The F/X are fantastic, it's well written and the actors are amazing. I am so sad they discontinued the series. Come on Warner, now that we have HBO Max, please bring it back!

This show was the surprise hit for DC. The cast and story were simply spectacular. Shame it was canceled as a second season and beyond would have fleshed out the rest of the story/plot. Highly, highly recommend this show.

Sad that we only got this one season. However the special effects and story are good. Characters are a but underwhelming but SwampThing and his story is very intriguing and dark. I really enjoyed the series for what we got and hoping for more SwampThing content in the future.
