    I needed to hook up my cable box to a TV in the basement. Didn't want to pay to relocate the box by adding RCA lines, or add a new one. This was an easy and cheap solution to my problem. I ran the line myself thru some existing holes in the floor and ran it thru the basement with plenty of line to spare. Now the rec room has cable and the cable company doesn't get any extra money out of me each month.
